Script - Mariko's New Team Cologne (Young) (Patreon)

Hello everyone! I'll be posting the link to the March Patreon GDoc sometime Sunday. For now, here's the script for Mariko's New Team, Cologne's pages. If you have any suggestions for improving these pages, I'm all ears. Best to tell me now before I send them off to the artist.

Page 1: Shampoo gives Cologne dinner. Cologne takes a bite and collapses.

Set in the cat cafe, with Shampoo in her normal clothes, while Cologne is sitting on top of her staff.

Shampoo: Nihao, great grandmother, Shampoo make dinner!

Cologne: Oh, what a kind great granddaughter I have. Hohoho!

The two of them sit down for dinner.

Cologne: So, have you made any progress with son-in-law?

Shampoo: Hrm, sort of? Shampoo learn something too too fun!

Cologne pops a dim sum in her mouth.

Shampoo: Shampoo pick up new hobby

Close up on Shampoo smirking as she snaps her fingers.

Shampoo: Cheerlead.

Cologne topples over, gasping for air.

Cologne: T-Treachery! What did you-

From Cologne's POV, a blurry shot of Shampoo suddenly in her cheerleader uniform. An analogue clock on the wall behind her should show quarter past five

Cologne: Sh-Shampoo...

Page 2: Cologne wakes up as an 18 year old in a cheerleader uniform.

A dark panel, with just narration.

Cologne: I feel... strange. What happened?

Shampoo: Ra ra ra, let's get real! Hope you enjoyed Shampoo's meal!

Cologne: Shampoo...? What's she chanting?

Shampoo: Please wake up, don't be late, mushrooms of time too too great!

We suddenly see Cologne, the same age as Shampoo, wearing a very similar cheerleader outfit, sitting on her chair.

Cologne: Mushrooms of time?! Great granddaughter what have you done?!

Shampoo is cheering away in front of her

Shampoo: Too too fun, it's a dream, great grandmother, join our team!

Cologne has swirls in her eyes for a moment, but she's obviously fighting it.

Cologne: I... I see! That's what's going on here!

Page 3: Cologne protests - Shampoo rings a bell. Cologne starts to cheer

Cologne: Whoever has cast this spell upon you, great granddaughter, will surely regret it! Come now, I'll break you free from this spell, and then -

Shampoo: Shampoo think that not be good, more than mushrooms in your food.

Shampoo snaps her fingers, and Cologne goes rigid for a moment.

Cologne then starts cheering away happily

Cologne:  Cheering's great! Cheering's fun! Cheering is for everyone!

Shampoo: Now give you a chance to rest! Hypno dimsum is the best!

Cologne: Great granddaughter, don't you -

Page 4: Cologne tries to resist, but even her willpower isn't enough

Shampoo snaps her finger again.

Now the two of them are cheering side by side in a brief montage. Each panel has them doing different sorts of cheers, and there's a shot of Shampoo doing a finger snap. On each successive page, the fight is draining from Cologne's face.

Both: Just give up! Just give in! Cheerleading will surely win!

Cologne: St-stop it, Shampoo!

Both: How much more can Cologne take before her body, mind, spirit break?

Cologne: If you think this will beat me...

Both: Spreading love and spreading joy, show off our bodies to the boys!

Cologne: I - Ah! I won't... Oooh, give in so... so...

Both: Mairko, Mariko, she's the best, so much better than the rest!

Cologne: Oh... oh... Ohhhhh!

Page 5: Cologne starts discussing with Shampoo how to turn their village into the "village of horny ditzy cheerleaders"

Cologne: Gosh, great granddaughter, thank you soooo much for showing me the light?

Shampoo: You is too too welcome, great grandmother. This too much fun to not share.

Cologne: Y'know, I totally have a fun little idea, teehee!

Shampoo: What that, great grandmother?

Cologne: How about we share this totally wonderful revelation with our village?

Shampoo: Shampoo can see it now. No more village of warrior women! Now be village of ditzy cheerleader!
