Ranma 1/2 Mariko's new Team! Preference Poll! (Patreon)

It turns out that the Ranma 1/2 comic was more popular than I expected, so it seems like this will have to run a bit longer than I had planned.

As such, I had an inkling of an idea earlier on. While I have plans in place for most of the main cast - That being the Tendo sisters, Ukyo, Shampoo, Kodachi, Ranma and Nodoka - there are quite a lot of other cute girls in this series who could surely do with donning pompoms.

It'll take quite a while before we get to them - but why not have some fun while we wait? A little league between the remaining nine? I'll set up a poll like this each week for the girls to go head to head, and by the time we're done we should be in a good place to see them. Of course, that will still be a long time away - we have plenty of comics pages to commission before we get there - I just thought it would be fun to see where your preferences were.

Unfortunately, attempting to copy the table in here didn't work. I'll leave each poll as a running event, so that newer patrons may join in as well.

Our first round will be: Ryoga Hibiki's love interest Akari Unryu vs Kodachi's rival, the White Lily Asuka Saginomiya!

Neither of whom get anywhere near the love they deserve from the fandom.

These polls will help me determine the ultimate order that the girls will be commissioned in, by the way. Three points to the winner, one for a draw, nothing for the lose. In the event of a tie, the number of votes cast in their favour will be taken into consideration as well. If that's still not enough, then I'll look at which of those in a tie have defeated each other - and if it's still a tie after that I'll do a coin flip. Or have them both hypnotised at the same time.
