Very surprised with some of the scores in the latter half of Round 1. How would you rank the teams? 

Based off some of the upcoming songs, I am SO excited for Round 2!

If you have the time or interest, I totally recommend you watch kei's performance of troublemaker from a few months ago! It shows off her vocals and her new image as not-Lovelyz. Very much reminded me of Solar shedding her girl-next-door image for sexy vocal powerhouse.

Your confusion every time the girls make a compassionate decision with the team-picking is killing me 😂 I totally understood why Nana didn't choose Hwiseo, it would have made the teams totally unbalanced. The way I see it, the girls just aren't being cut-throat competitive in this show. Obviously they want to win, but I think it means more to them to make the competition a fair fight and to let each contestant shine. I think the situation would be very different if it was trainees competing here, but since they've already debuted, they probably just don't see it as this life-or-death competition 😅

Gosh afdkfjksj is this just the best tv or whattttt. I think I’ve got like 95% of the girls down and it just gets more and more impossible to choose each week. I love all of them ahhh🫠 Can’t wait for the next episodeeeee I think my ranking for the performances wd be- 1. Fighting 2. Only one 3. Nude 4. Don’t call me 5. Shut down 6. Dance the night away

My personal rankings: 1. Shut Down - My only qualm with it is that I don't think they did enough with the arrangement of the song. It still echoed the BP version too much for me. But the choreo and everything else was fantastic. Sangah jumping backwards and landing on that pole without looking still gets me every time I've seen it. 2. Fighting - I just loved the stage and the energy. It's not my favorite song of the bunch, but I enjoyed the concept a bunch and I thought it was the most fun. 3. Nxde - I actually really dislike the arrangement. I thought the concept and choreo was really good, but I really wasn't a big fan of how it was remixed. That said, of all these songs, Nxde is probably my favorite original, so I'm sure there's some bias there. 4. Only One - I think there was some awkwardness still and, just like the soloists in the previous Queendoms, there were no favors by having the two of them in the spotlight the whole time while everyone else had whole groups that could mix things up. That said, it's a lovely song and they did a good job with it. 5. Don't Call Me - I'm not super familiar with the original, but I thought they did ok. Wooyeon and Yeoreum stood out, but I didn't find the performance itself particularly memorable. I think they did a good job, but the others above were just...better. 6. Dance the Night Away - Other than the opening with the bubble, it just wasn't my thing. It was fine, but similar to the Don't Call Me Stage, I can't pick out any moment other than the bubble, where I really went "Wow" like I did for Shut Down, Fighting or Nxde.

If you thought the part distribution for Dance The Night Away was tense, get ready for a wild ride on Boys Planet. Every single mission is like this lol. Also, Bora and Jiwon were both on Girls Planet. So, they have experience with this situation as well. And yes, Bora always went for the best vocal part on there too. Also, I'm glad they were able to include the mandatory survival show dance battle haha.

2023-07-10 02:40:10 So far I am not sure how I feel about this season. The girls haven't figured each other out enough yet because for the most part, the teams haven't been picked good. Like for example the Black Pink group in my opinion was the worst combo she could have came up with for that specific song. Yes they all shined in the "Snap" performance and she picked them because of that but for a Blackpink song, you need better rapping. Sanghan didn't do bad I'll give her that but the other 2 rapping wasn't good. The red riding hood theme was weird and didn't fit the song at all in my opinion. The only thing I liked about that song was the dancing. And I think that's why the Nude cover did well, they totally changed the vibe and it worked. I would have LOVED to have Yeorum in that group she would have killed that dance too... As for the other songs I personally didn't know them so watching them was fun. I think the group with Yuki in it based on the crowd engagement and how fun the performance looked was the winner of the night regardless of the voting. But overall I haven't had a performance I LOVED yet on this show... really hope next episode can change that for me.
