Jiwoo and Yooyeon knew each other from MTG (survival show), and Naky and Hyerin trained together at P-Nation (that is the company that PSY owns). So in this case Naky chose HAUS 2 to be with Hyerin. Also yes Jiwoo and Yubin were previously friends.

the recap didn't show the reaction to Naky's teaser, but the reaction to Naky's teaser was great, especially Yooyeon's reaction, she has an iconic line saying Naky is her type and that she is into sexy women lol. but you could say that Naky's teaser was misleading, she is actually very cute.

Hyerin is indeed very mature for her age. Ya the more i watch this the more i realize just how much they leave out. Maybe you could go back and watch the weekly signals afterwards which is a recap for just that week and might fill in some blanks. Otherwise you might just have to binge watch them like the rest of us lol.

You are absolutely right that Seoyeon was a great choice to be first, she's been a great leader for the project and seems to make everyone else comfortable. On her waiting for so long, you aint wrong. But now she's gonna be doing 3 comebacks back to back because her next unit is after krystal eyes. The 100,000 copies thing wasn't ever really meant to be some attainable goal I think, seems more like the company was testing the waters of where they were at. For the Chaeyeon clip ep 187, she thought she was gonna be late for an exam which some of the members were outside waiting for to cheer her on. For the Haus situation, they were initially in the first two which was basically in a resort away from Seoul. Then they moved to the third Haus permanently with all the members in Seoul, and further changes happened since then but that's for future episodes.

Chaeyeon was taking her CSAT, which is the national exam to get into college, its like SAT/ACT in the US. She was almost late, the context was the next clip where they were saying she took the CSAT yesterday. But yeah i get how that could be confusing if you didn't know what a CSAT was.

My advice for you with these would be to continue catching up (in a quicker way than watching everything - I think the Signal Weeklys sound like a really good idea for that), and then you can just jump into watching the current signals whenever you're up to date. Oh, and in addition to the Saturday recaps, they also release little Sunday Selfie videos (called SSSIGNAL), which are basically a compilation of vlog moments that the members filmed during the week. Personally some of my favourite content, so if you have time, I think they'd be really nice to do alongside the Signal Weeklys 🙂 They'd help you to learn more about the girls personalities I think, without being really overwhelmed by content.

The earliest episodes are pretty short, about 5-7 minutes long. They almost never are over 15 minutes unless it’s a big episode, like gravity. Honestly, maybe start at the beginning of this year and work your way up? They kind of did a soft reset where they had a Haus in Japan for a month where only a few new members started. And then you get right into the other 10 working for debuting Assemble and during those promotions. I’ll watch anything you decide to do with tripleS, as I’m sure most others will! Oldest to youngest of the 8 members you saw in these videos: Yooyeon (2001) Nakyoung (2002) Seoyeon (2003) Chaeyeon (2004) Yubin (2005) Jiwoo (2005) Kaede (2005) Hyerin (2007) Soomin (2007) As others have said, jiwoo and Yubin were friends from school before debuting. The whole gimmick of tripleS is that the trainees do not know each other either. They practice and live separately, so they are invested in the reveal teasers too, and have no clue who will be in the group.

Yes they still film and upload same day every day (7/7) even until today and sub it all, they haven't missed a day. 100k sales was never meant an attainable goal, but also not too ridiculous. Fans get a cb of that subunit if they reach it, if not, they still perform their songs on concerts, get to debut in full and new subunits, and maybe fans even might vote for a subunit to have a cb. They never really "disband" Nakyoung is Bibi's actual little sister. I have watched all their episodes, it looks like Modhaus does take good care of those girls. Their blockchain system doesn't allow crypto mining, so no waste of energy (polygon proof of stake consensus algorithm network). The NFT part is simply digital poca's you collect on their app, and fans can trade with eachother, arguably more environment friendly than fans mass buying and discarding albums to collect all physical poca's. To bad many people think NFT = bad/scams, it's not in this case. If you buy a digital poca you also get points (como), you can vote with them and make decisions such as fan name/songs/units, ... I hear ranges that Modhaus made 500k usd - 2 mil already so it's a good business model.

I think public middle and high schools in Korea are between 30 to 50% coed? Not sure exactly. Not terribly long ago, none of them were, and the rollout has been a generational process. And within coed schools, classes themselves may or may not be mixed. I'm sure there's a ton of variation across the country too.
