monika was once a college professor on top of being an amazing dancer and choreographer monika is indeed very strict but lovable off stage but since swf its obvious how strict she is im sure mnet is playing it up though

Honestly I'm a little annoyed Loona continues to be punished for missing the round 1 performance. They would have been in 2nd or 3rd right now if it wasn't for covid which would have allowed them to pick whatever dance choreo they wanted.

This was also my favourite episode so far, I loved all the interactions so much! It was interesting to see the units get formed too. I agree that Minyoung and Hyolyn are likely a shoe-in to win the vocal round, but I'm looking forward to all the performances regardless. I feel the same as you in terms of caring less about the competition aspect by the day haha. One thing I would like to see in terms of rankings though is for the Desire team to do well. I don't think it's right that LOONA were once again at a disadvantage because of those low Round One points. I think they got shafted by Mnet a little bit here, so I really want to see them come from that underdog position and absolutely kill it. I am a little scared for them with this SWF coach they have though 😅 Also, I love that Eunseo got to show her personality a bit more here haha, she's awesome. I'd say Dayoung is the "crazy one" in WJSN, while Eunseo is more the loud fun one who just loves to make everybody feel comfortable. She even said on Universe pm that the Queendom producers told her to make her entrance for that dance unit selection quite serious and tense, but she rebelled and decided to be a dork instead haha. And Soobin was a logical choice for the vocal unit round btw, since she's the third WJSN main vocalist. She's got a great voice too, so I'm looking forward to seeing her get a chance to show it off in the next round.

It's so funny that you couldn't imagine Kep1er (the youngest group) twerking for the song XD. It's to be expected because they've never showed a sexier side to their performances. But Dayeon danced with Lachica before and Hikaru and Xiaoting danced a more sensual song in GP999 called Snake (along with Dayeon) so I'm super excited for them to show how multi-talented the group is!!!

I forgot to mention that Lachica is a dance crew that participated in Street Woman Fighter (choreographed Kaboom!) and have a strong WOMEN focused image in their choreo, it's amazing. So just imagine the training Dayeon had in the past!

I'd be bawling my eyes out if Sun & Moon sings Downpour. This song holds a very special place in my heart, it's the disbandment song of I.O.I. Woozi (Seventeen) did a wonderful job in producing the song. Also, I'd love to see Yeonjeong's (she's a former member of I.O.I) reaction if she hears the song. It just sucks that they chose Don't Go but it's a great song nonetheless. The one you pointed out where you kept forgetting the name from Kepler, that's is Youngeun, she's the 2nd youngest, tho she's the same age with Hikaru and Hiyyih. Mashiro actually the 3rd eldest, same age with Xiaoting. And if you have some spare time, please do watch their GP99 performances, esp My Sea, Chaeyuns voice on that is just *chef's kiss*

Man, your blossoming love for Eunha is just so funny to watch. 😂 This was easily the best episode, even if it's kicking the bottom teams while they're down. I'm actually glad LOONA got Desire, even if it wasn't their choice. I definitely agree with the other two being more explosive, but I really enjoy choreo that's a bit more... sophisticated, I guess? The formations and the floorwork of that one look great, so I'm excited. Competition-wise, it may well cost them, but I don't think the way the Purr team ended up is right for that style either, so it could go either way. Guessing the Ka-Boom team is going to slay though. Which means that, surprise, Hyolyn got two very promising units because she could just choose whatever she wanted! I am really looking forward to all the vocal units though. Minyoung getting a confidence boost like this (because they WILL slay) will be perfect, and the other teams seem very balanced. Soobin's really impressed me a lot with her live vocals, so I'm sure she'll nail it. She's probably the WJSN vocalist I've noticed the most other than Yeonjung, actually, but I feel like she's one of the less-talked-about members of the group. Or maybe I just haven't seen it myself? Imagine an entire show of just this. Six groups hanging out, getting to know each other, eating, making units, performing. I'd eat that up so bad.

So excited for Hyolyn and Minyoung, and the song is so good and emotional, im already so touched by them together i want to see their stage now! This is everything i wanted! I think everyone will do amazing, will be so fun to see everyone perform! and like you said in your other video its nice that we all can have different opinions but still have friendly and kind comments, just like it should be everywhere!

I honestly think the Desire one could be a red herring. I feel like there is definitely going to be a WOW factor in it but it was just not included in the snippet. I think it was mnet diverting. I don't believe it is coincidence that song has the most hard core teacher.

I agree! I'm looking forward to all the dance performances but there is something very sophisticated and mature about Desire choreo so far. Kaboom and Purr, while they look cool, I feel like I've already seen similar things no Studio choom or something similar. Desire gives me BamBam and Seulgi, who are you vibes which I loved!

Great reaction! You watching Eunha is becoming the highlight of these things. The betrayal on your face when she left your girls haha. So I said last episode I became a Brave girls fan, I am now a Fearless (I'm pretty sure that's the fandom name). I've watched a good handful of their variety stuff, and I just really love these girls. Older girls doing variety things is such a vibe. (Granted there is a barrier for me with very youthful energy groups. Not a bad thing, since I do like when they're super adorable. But I am on the older side, and would rather watch girls kick it, have a drink, eat and sh*t talk with each other. Tangent over). So selfishly, I'm glad BG got paired off with Hyolyn and Loona for the units. This may keep them from getting 6th place; I'll be honest I don't know how the voting for this part works, so it may not make a difference. I'm looking forward to 33's performance (of course...), the lyrics really got me in my feels, so I'm expecting the stage to really get me. My heart was so hurt to see Eunji feel like she was settled upon and I do feel bad for Loona getting the boot twice. But honestly I do think Desire can be a great fit for them to showing a different side of themselves. "Explosive" or "dynamic" choreo can sometimes feel one note in my personal opinion. Like I feel like I already know what the stage is going to look like or what the costumes are going to be. I'm hoping that the desire choreo will build upon itself. I gave an example in a comment of BamBam/Seulgi Who are you or something Taemin would do ie Move / Press my number. OR.... I'm completely wrong haha. Side comment about Minyoung, I think she's also considered the main dancer as well as main vocalist for BG. Side side comment - This would NEVER happen, but Red Velvet doing this would be very interesting for me... But I'll continue to dream haha.

Ok, yeah, that whole concern about voting/ranking seems a lot less important now to me. These interaction episodes truly are the best ones. Also becoming a Brave Girls fan. So I'm right there with you Cassandra. :)

Honestly, Dayoung got a lot of hosting screen time, its so like her, but it was also most of WJSN. They even bought that food truck with them to the set for the staff and groups, which is why they're the ones handing them out too! An ujung asked Eunseo on bbm about the hosting and she confirmed that they just really wanted to break the ice. I swear, they needed an WJSN on Queendom 1's bbq. Much as I love them, all those groups really were introvert af 😂 I remember Mamamoo literally ran away to the poolside to get away from everyone else!
