I'm not a big fan of the mix on the M Countdown Te Amo stage. It sounds a lot better on the album. Honestly, it's a very strong contender for my b-side of the year so far. I absolutely love that song.

Good observations. I mostly agree with your comments. Her album is quite good but it needed some better production as a whole. Its a very Taeyeon album, which is a good idea as no one in Miyeon's generation has made a bid to be a successor. But I guess Miyeon/Cube doesn't quite have the money to get Taeyeon level production quality. At least, without getting it free from Soyeon like what happens with Idle

I am sure you would love Rose on her album. It's a very 50s feeling song, very flirty, cant really describe it. The album is very cohesive and is so very Miyeon. Very pretty, sensual, positive and playful.

The album version of Te Amo does sound a lot better. I don't know why they mixed the backing vocals so high for that stage, she really doesn't need it. And it is definitely my favorite track on the album! My first thought after having listened to the whole thing was "Taeyeon", and it seems I'm not alone in that - several of the songs resemble Taeyeon's slower and groovier songs quite a bit, especially Te Amo and Rose. I like the album because it's very relaxing and heartfelt, and it also lets Miyeon flex her vocals. Personally I feel that she's been quite restrained in a lot of the recent I-DLE songs, and it's frustrating when you know what she can do. She gets to push herself a bit here, and I love that.

I noticed that on her stage for Drive, there were paper daisies, wich i bet are the same ones used on Hongseok special goodbye stage...and i know people will criticize Cube for reusing props, but i actually like it and is fun to notices those things, like the white vines that i've seen with Gidle (Oh my God), Pentagon (Daisy), BTOB (Kingdom Missing you performance) and Lightsum (Vivace), is like that broken chair that Yeone keeps using, is part of the company too 😂... (Also i think someone at Cube is good at making paper flowers lately😂)
