I feel like Eunha and SinB are like Pinky and The Brain. The evil mastermind and the cute lovable sidekick.

Matt S

WJSN killed it! The vocals were insane. If you ever get into GFRIEND, you won't be disappointed in the vocals. Yuju is a monster.

as someone just not into loona im feeling the way non buddies were about viviz after their first round performance just not as into it i got into this mainly for wjsn and kepler but loona and wjsn definetely had the best in the first round with loona maybe a slight edge over wjsn round one this round i like wjsn and hopefully kepler can pull through this time because it was honestly a disappointing stage last round im avoiding all spoilers so i can be surprised staying off sns and everything. But yeah i like all these groups except brave girls and thats just because theyre a little old for my taste and i dont know them like the rest theyre funny though from showterview and what little ive seen. and hyolyn i dont really know much either im 23 and got into kpop in 2018 so besides bigbang im not really into older groups my ults are blackpink since theyre my first group i ever got into they might not be the best at anything like vocals or dancing but they were my first group and i got into them a month before ddudu came out and then they just took off with that song but i got into them because of "annoying" kpop video recomendations at the time anyways they were annoying lol then i finally watched and loved it jisoo jennie my mains there but im not a solo stan or anything i love all members in groups because its dumb to stan kpop groups if ur gonna only like one member and actively disrespect others thats another reason i stay off twitter lol jennie and lisa stans are toxic to one another they honestly think and other group solo stans honestly think these guys and girls hate eachother secretly or something thats one thing i hate about kpop so ive learned to stay away from sns in general too toxic and competitive. And dont worry im not like most toxic big group stans as i kinda just explained i love and respect all the artists male and female. kepler is the one im pulling for here because of yujin and clc then i watched the show they were on and absolutely couldnt help fall for all of them dayeon one of the blondes is my bias the main dancer. I know most people here are loona stans though hopefully ur cool with my opinion not being that into this performance i still like them they just dont do much these days in terms of content to stay into them probably because of company issues olivia is the bias though then kim lip probably. Sorry for the long post 2 am here and bored watching youtube i drag on when im bored lol love ur channel though

KpopPrince

I do respect all opinions so it's all good! However I will point out the irony of it being hard to stay into LOONA because of slow activity while also Blackpink being your ult 😝

Chad Williams

yeah sad days man being a blink lol i just got that deeper connection to them than any other group because they were the very first group that introduced me to kpop so i feel a deeper loyalty to them than any other thats also why im a multistan i would be bored to death if i only supported them i had a loona phase though when i binged watched reactors reactions to their loona tv episodes about a year or 2 ago but when i got into them that was right when haseul went on hiatus and if im not mistaken they didnt do much for the next year after that so it was bad timing unfortunately they started taking those year long hiatuses like blackpink right as i joined and i wasnt as invested yet as much as i was with blackpink because bp released d4 right after i joined then got insanely huge out west and started being very active so it all was just perfect timing with them and bad timing with loona i wouldnt be as attached to them if it wasnt for that emotional attachment kpop has really brought a lot of joy to me and since it was bp who was my first group concert everything im more attached trust me its not because of the music or talent theres better discographies aka red velvet and more talented groups but thats not why i stan groups allt these idols are extremely talented i get invested because of personalities and people i can relate too that always comes first for me on if im gonna stan a group im also always more attatched to groups i catch the very beginning of like stayc and everglow i caught them right before they debuted before they were popular at all so its obviously different then too but yeah thx for understanding. Reactors like u johan bacardi and eddy kaia etc are great i always watch ur reactions when i can

Wall of text incoming, this was definitely my favorite Q2 episode yet, one of my favorite reactions of yours ever, and I'm in a good mood! 😁 The pre-performance segment of this was fantastic, I could watch these groups be their goofy selves forever. The chill dorkiness of Brave Girls and Hyolyn is great, I've really grown fond of them quickly on here. I LOVED seeing I-DLE, Hyejeong and Chanmi in the crowd too, real nostalgia throwback to last season. WJSN's concept for this stage is what I thought Purki would be after Ponzona, I love that stuff. Yeoreum getting her well-deserved spotlight AGAIN was so good, I thought she killed it in the first round so the fact she's being so hard on herself speaks to the expectations they have of themselves. Pretty sure she's my bias in this group! I also still hadn't understood just how special Yeonjung is until recently, but her popping off on here, winning against Siyeon (of all people) on the V1 competition, and then seeing her share a couch with Chungha and the others during the IOI reunion the other day, it feels like WJSN got a real win with her. I think Exy's rap would've been better if it was mixed more towards the live audio, hearing the backing so clearly made it break up the flow a bit for me. I didn't connect the dots that they and Monsta X were both Starship groups either, cool to see that interaction even if my Monsta X experience amounts to about 20 minutes of watching their MVs. They're part of my FLEX prep so I'll be checking out more of them for sure. LOONA... I really didn't know just how dire the situation was at BBC during those years, I teared up too watching that part and I haven't been with them nearly as long as you. Greatly enjoy Heejin and Yves' authority in the practice room, they run a tight ship and the results speak for themselves. The performance itself was absolutely top tier for me, the sheer spectacle of it all kept my mouth firmly agape throughout the whole thing. I thought of Hairspray right away. 🤣 Yves pretending to suck at dancing, the Chuu Slide™ and the little dressing room for Gowon killed me. 😂 Emotions are cool, they put the fucking S in Show. 🔥 I thought Brave Girls did a good job, especially considering they were still recovering from COVID, but they once again lacked that extra bit of dynamism to really bring them up a notch. They have the vocal power, they have great ideas, I liked the thief concept, I just feel they need to go further with everything and polish it more. Doing classy stuff like that at a show like this is dangerous because I feel like successful Queendom stages are all about the energy and the wow factor. Watching the full video beforehand like this is a good idea. 👍 Especially with Brave Girls, I was really taken out of the experience by the crazy amount of reaction cuts, it felt like it was broken up into five-second segments.

The best episode so far! I always feel the dread of having to wait a week for the next episode, but with this one it is especially bad. I think i'm just like you in that i want to soak in everything that Queendom 2 has to offer, so i hope they upload the behind the scenes stuff fast, i'm already starving here. I liked WJSN's performance, although i have to say that outside of Yeoreum's solo, there wasn't that much that was memorable, Sure, they had their props at the beginning, but all throughout the performance, there was not much to it. Vocals were on point though, can't deny that. I've seen many people on reddit saying that this dark concept just doesn't fit Navillera and that they should've chosen Apple or Fingertip and that the rap was misplaced, definately the most controversial performance of the week among netizens. I think that this round is for experimental stuff and changing concepts of songs, so i don't see the issue. I lost it when Monsta X came in, the way Joohoney came in with the „Hey, what are you doing?“ had me on the floor. I love seeing interactions like these and i hope we can see many more in future episodes. What can be said about LOONA's performance that hasn't already been said? It was fantastic and is most likely going to be the winner of this round. I'm not that big of a musical fan, but that didn't stop me from grinning from ear to ear during the whole performance, i love these girls just too much. Granted, i am not as involved as you are so there were no tears, but i still felt emotional in some way. And also, how cute was their interaction with Hyolyn! Even though Brave Girls couldn't give 100 %, i really loved that performance. I think it is a mix between me loving the original song, me falling in love with Brave Girls more and more and their creative concept and performance despite Covid being a pain in the ass. We'll see after the next 3 performances but i can't imagine them being last. Also yeah, watching the full performance first and then the edited version is such a great idea. Despite me loving the reactions of the other groups, it really dismantles the performance as a whole and as you, i and many people have said: More Queendom 2 content is always a plus.

I feel like i am the only non-Orbit commenting, so maybe i can give a more neutral take? :) I think Loona's performance was really good from a performance and concept point of view. They turned a sexy song into a cute musical show and they did it convincingly. As a non-fan it was pretty hard to follow on where to look though. So many members. Might also be a problem of the camera work. All in all i feel they could show of what they are known for. Performance. Not a very challenging vocal song. I want to see more of them in that regard. WJSN was a very good performance as well. They really had the guts to take a classic and bent it to their style. A lot of good vocals but a less captivating performance than Loona. All in all i would rate them on the same level. Personal preference will dictate the votes i think. Brave Girls was for me what Loona was in the first round (even though it didnt count). They lacked energy. Probably Covid related. They made good use of props and dancers to cover it a bit. But it was noticeable. Just not enough time i guess. They will be hard pressed to land better than fourth or fifth overall. My conspiration theory at the end: Kep1er will have a big screwup and go sixth. Makes the narrative for the redemption arc for their comeback song which is all what Mnet cares about for them anyway.

So here i go: WJSN: really really great performance, the concept was cool and the bulding of it too. Great mix, good dance break and amazing vocals. At the moment it's my number 1 Loona: after everything i hear all the time by orbits i was still waiting for a perf who show their strengh and this one does it. The concept was fire, the acting was great and the dancing was great. Their PTT hanbok version was cool but "meh" a solid ok perf. This one obliterate it by a mile. I think they are made for this kind of joyful concept they shine in this one. my only real downside was that the singing (and remix) was ok but not WOW, especially just after WSJN and i would say that BG impressed my more on that side even with them not being at 100%. Solid second place for me but wouldn't be shock to see them ranked first. I don't think the last three perf can top the first 2 one. Now BG (my new obsession XD), i enjoyed a lot this performance and i think it's because i don't expect the same thing from them as everyone else i guess. They are not and will never be a "dancing group" so their perf will probably more like MMM's one in Q1. Their vibe and style is way different and bit old school from everyone else. I liked the concept here even tho tehy could have done more with it. The camera work felt a bit lost maybe because they had little time so i could explain. With the budget going berserk this year and groups focusing on big and fancy perf it's sad but i can only see them staying low in the rankings (as it's not their way of performing, i could be wrong). Also the covid hit them hard (maybe even harder than loona) so fck this shitty virus. I can't wait to see the last 3perf and hope after we just get full interactions !!! And yeah keep providing us with every bit of content from Q2. Also you ask to ppl new to Q2 who could strike us first and for me it's the girl who got "blue" hair but i couldn't clearly see her name

Cassandra J.

I'll take a page out of everyone's book and submit an essay. Or at least a short summary. WJSN - Performanace was cool, vocals were really nice! Great use of the stage. I love witchy things, so thats a plus. The one thing I think I'm noticing is that between first set of performances and this performance, I'm not a fan of Gfriend beginning music style... even if this is a rearrangement. Gfriend never grabbed my attention before Mago, and I think its just we're not musically compatible. Loona - So I'm learning about Loona through this show. And I'll admit, I am biased, huge Sistar fan. (I'm really here for Hyolyn mostly.) And I love Shake it, so I think making it into a musical style song, kinda killed the song for me. Too many moving parts to focus on if you dont really knowthe girls. Song wise... The original song is unrelenting energy that feels like its constantly buidling into a bombastic final chorus, which this rearrangement didnt do for me. I dont know what I was expecting, because people have been really building this performance up for me. So in a way, maybe the hype built it up too much. But it was really cute and fun performance which I liked a lot but didn't OMG Love. (side note, I wish the costumes were morecohesisve, they could have done more pastel colored suits / or bright colored suits instead of the black and browns, that's a nit pick) And honestly , the thing I like most about it was watching your reaction to it. Knowing how much you love this group and wanting them to pop off more in Korea. Reminds me of my love for RV (which yes is a big three group, but have had they're ups and downs since debut). Brave Girls - This underdog edit they are getting, really is working my heart strings. I think I've gotta fully support them. Brave girls give me 3rd gen vibes, which is when I came into Kpop and I love. I'm super impressed by gen 4 dancing and performance energy. But it will never be the thing that makes me go hard for a group. The Brave Girls stage felt a like a concert stage. I liked the arrangement of the song the best, and while they weren' 100% vocally or energy wise (FYI - Post viral coughs and post covid fatigue can last weeks after infection, so totally sucks that they got sick right before). This was my favorite stage of the episode, but I think that came down to song. I guess I'm just old fashioned. And yes, so glad they didnt do Wa da da haha.... Big take aways so far for me: I like a theme, but not too much of one, that it feels overshadowing to what they are presenting on stage. And that again, song choice and arrangement are super important, to get me to even get into the vibe of the performance. Having a great time watching, makes mewant to watche Queendom 1, since I do like Mamamoo and some OMG songs.

i feel like i've just ran a marathon binging all your queendom content and i'm so glad i've finally caught up . loll. that loona performance was EVERYTHING. i love shake it and man did they do that song justice and more. that'll be a tough one to beat imo. i might be the outlier here but i really wish i enjoyed WJSN's performance more than i did. Something about the performance just didnt quite hit for me although i did rly like dance break. their interaction with monsta x was my favourite part of this entire episode. i rly liked it too that monsta x were actually giving them proper feedback, we had alot of those in 2nd gen but they sorta disappeared over time and i wish we had more of those these days :( i rly appreciated BG's performance and so far, i'm most drawn to them out of all the groups but i agree with your opinion about it feeling abit like a special music show performance. anyway i'm starting to catch names & faces and i thought i'd list who is sticking out to me so far in each group haha Loona: i can alr recognise chuu and haseul before queendom but the one i'm drawn to here is Heejin (her visuals and tone of voice?????????????? like gurllllll. ) WJSN: Exy for sureee . Also yeoreum looks so much like my brother's gf it's trippy BG: all of them but i havent got their names down haha kep1er: I already know yujin but the next one i'm drawn to is Dayeon. Viviz: SinB and Eunha P.S JUSTICE FOR PTG SCREENTIME :<

ok, I'm a little behind on Queendom watching, but oooooooooooo my god that Loona performance was freaking AMAZING! I LOVED IT I was thinking "ok, this guy is Loona fan, I'll see what they got." and boy, do they got it.

Maca

i'm catching up on your queendom reactions and i lost my shit when you said "loona doesn't have anyone like this... grimes could show up." lmao

KpopPrince

Oh my god, thank you! 🙌🏻 I'm always hoping someone appreciates these little remarks because I'm totally laughing inside my head afterward.

Heyo, going through your Queendom content to get me through for the next episode (I’ve already seen all the performances for Round 3 but man the wait is killer!). Just some WJSN fun facts from this episode: - Monsta X probably felt comfortable enough to be super critical because they and WJSN used to have a co-ed super group together. Check out the one killer song they released before Kpop akagaes basically bullied them to never release another one together again 😀 - Yuqi reacting to Yeoreum’s dance in the audience is literally the most genuine thing. They’re good friends irl, enough that you see them in each other’s ig stories some times. - BG’s Yujeong’s compliment on Yeoreum about her being a good dancer since her trainee days isn’t a throwaway compliment. They actually used to train in another agency together, and hugged each other during the first Q2 meeting but it was obvs edited out (to make that “awkward” atmosphere) -Yves and Exy are friends. You can tell how close some of these women are by what they call each other lol I find it funny that for Yves, Exy is “Unnie” while Yeoreum is “Yeoreum sunbaenim” 😂 -You mentioned in a previous episode about leaders and who is the “right hand” so to speak. Unnie line has a pretty good balance when it comes to taking lead in most situations. Unnie line being, Seola, Bona, and Exy. But half of WJSN are E-types, so no one’s that hesitant to step up when need be tbh

KpopPrince

Yeonjung and Soobin feel like I-types for sure. Glad you've come aboard to join watching with us! I remember Yves having plenty of interactions with Exy when she took over hosting duties on Fact In Star while Yves promoted. Leave it to the weirdo fans to ruin a good co-ed kpop thing btw!
