I'm editing episode 3 now! I messed up on a part and forgot to screen capture so it's taking me a long time to sync the video and audio 😭

i think my ranking for this round is - 1. Hyolyn 2. WJSN 3. Viviz 4. Loona 5. Brave Girls 6. Kep1er Anw im rly surprised at how much i'm loving the girls in BG. there's something about their personalities and aura that's just very likeable and fun to watch. you're right, they kinda remind me of a btob too. haha. man it's going to be such a tough ride if i start rooting for them

not sure if anyone else has answered, but yeseo is the maknae. mashiro is actually part of the unnie line haha. but even the members have pointed out how similar yeseo and mashiro look.

the benefit of temporary groups formed from survival shows is the amount of fans and money you get from day one of the debut. But kep1er's popularity in Korea was much lower than IOI or izone at debut, "Wa DA DA" did not chart very well in Korea, which is why a lot of people feel like Mnet put them on this show to boost their name recognition and popularity in Korea.

Seola is the oldest in WJSN, so despite Exy being the leader, she has a lot of authority in the group.

Woo!ah!'s music is so good, but they are a pretty unknown group in Korea. They are famous on TikTok though lol

About Xiaoting looking uncomfortable, part of that is just her resting face. But some of it is that Xiaoting is introverted mbti. Plus she has only been learning Korean for like 6 months. So she probably is not totally understanding everything they are saying.

obviously late to the party, but as someone who is both a fan of kep1er AND was not ecstatic that they were in the lineup (although by this point at the finale i've softened and have decided that at least its a learning experience for them to be here), i really feel that despite having the 'daughters of mnet' label, to me it felt like those girls were almost left to their own devices for their performances (ESPECIALLY round 1). compared to every single other act this round, it felt like kep1er weren't given nearly the amount of spectacle to show off that other groups were (set design, props, camerawork). and not to the fault of the girls themselves, who clearly worked hard on their choreography and expressions, but it really felt like their stage was the most lackluster as a first performance, and i really felt sorry for them. it's one thing for mnet to try and convince us that they aren't giving those girls any extra favors, but its another that whoever's managing them didn't understand the gravity of that first round and how important it was that they stand out from the jump. surely they didn't expect a group of teens and early twenty-somethings who debuted less than half a year ago (!!!) to plan the whole layout and design of their performance by themselves?

...also someone explain to me how it's possible to cry during PTT, im so frustrated looking back on it now and knowing that that stage would've been top three had they been able to compete :/ kim lip started playing that traditional flute-like instrument and the tears started 😭

Very late to the party, and no one has mentioned this, but the "you don't need to pick a team ABOVE if you don't think anyone is better than you" is in the original rules in Queendom1, same as the compulsory BELOW vote. But, everyone picked an ABOVE because all groups were honest about their feelings. I LOVE the environment and vibe of Q1 because it really felt more wholesome and friendly throughout the whole series. This season put me off after watching this episode because it was too calculative and kinda cold.. But with someone to watch it with, I'm watching it now here. :)

Late reply (11 Jul 2022), but I feel the difference between Kep1er and the rest is that Kep1er is a group made up by a broadcast company, while the rest all have experienced agencies and/or personal GG experience to back themselves up. The other groups have plenty of experience and say in how they want to perform, know what they need to focus on for each member, while Kep1er have nothing to base their next performances on besides the experience of the broadcasting company's experience of what they see other groups are like (and the reaction of the audiences they see). Even for the arrangement of the choreo and vocals, the other groups have a say in how to make it good and suit themselves, but Kep1er really don't have the say/experience to make improvements for the whole group. (At least that was how I felt watching this series..)
