I appreciate so much the spontaneous decision to react to the whole thing lol it was great! they delivered everything on that stage. In live performances like this is really amazing to listen to Cya and Dongmyeong's voices evolving and getting even better, not to mention Harin and Kanghyun beeing absolutly incredible together! Also idk what it is but the energy that Yonghoon has on stage (and off to) reminds me of Solar haha

OH WOW did not expect you to watch the whole thing! What a happy surprise haha. Idk if it makes you feel any better, but at the time this took place Covid restrictions were a bit stricter, so no audience besides staff unfortunately. They did have their first in person concert since the pandemic about a month ago and they had a decently sized audience!

I want to see them live so bad. Love how emotive Yonghoon is! I also really appreciate that Cya delivers his raps in the same low tone that he does in the recorded versions - a lot of K-pop rappers seem to jump up an octave when they're performing, probably because of choreo and breathing. And yeah, Korean is pretty straight forward. A lot of logic in the grammar and only one alphabet, unlike Japanese. The pronunciation rules and just hearing the differences between sounds is probably the hardest part, along with the counting systems and honorifics just adding so much extra mental work.

Thank you so much for sharing this reaction! It was my first time seeing this Rising Star 4U stage, and (unsurprisingly) Onewe absolutely killed it! Seeing them in person is absolutely a dream of mine; I was able to watch their online/offline concert live through my screen last month and even just that much was phenomenal, so I know they'd completely blow my mind if I got to see them in person.

Omg i am so glad i got this notif in my mailbox!! Love love love that you reacted to the whole performance and definitely relate to your emotions during Regulus. That song. THAT BRIDGE!! That ending line, “Among so many persons, the only one i remember is listening to this song right now. I remember you.” Completely 1000% agree that Yonghoon and Hyungu are the best vocalist and guitarist respectively in the industry, and that’s me trying to be as objective as possible given they’re my ult and bias wrecker lmao. I apologize for the person i will become if they ever do come to the United States. Even if it’s just one stop, you can bet that i will somehow find my way there because there’s no way I’d miss out on them performing live. I nearly cried once listening to Yonghoon’s live performance of A book in Memory and have cried to that one performance of him singing If and Reminisce About All that you reacted to as well; I can’t imagine what listening to him in person will do to me. As always, I love your reactions. I’m not sure what it is about them, but you make reacting like I’m with a cool older friend that still shares my same love for groups, but especially for K-bands and ONEWE. Looking forward to more reactions!! <3

Oh wow, first time watching these live performances. Sir. totally agree, they deserve so much more. I wanna be in the crowd when they perform. Ring on my ears is crazily underrated, this song is such a vibe. And of course, the members are geniuses, talented folks. If they visit Europe by accident, I'll be there to watch them live, that's for sure. Definitely on the bucket list.

Ah yes as someone else has mentioned, this performance was during the time that they had more restrictions due to COVID so no live audience allowed in and also they had to remain seated and refrain from screaming, only clapping allowed so as not to "spread covid" from their breathing lol Onewe did have a solo concert recently and if I remember correctly the show sold out in a few minutes! Same restrictions for that concert though, stay in seats and only clapping allowed so no cheering or screaming. Weves momentarily forgot this rule when drummer Harin took off his shirt during one of the songs though so during the live stream and in fan videos you can hear strangled screams and Yonghoon panicking and saying "please Weves no screaming I beg you!" in the background xD They're still not as big as they should be but they are recieving lots of love~

Rising Star is a band competition in Korea (Rolling Quartz was the 2nd runner-up for 2020), Onewe was invited to the 2021 finals as a performing guest. The seats were mostly empty bc of covid restrictions at the time, instead the 2021 finals (or Rising Star 4U) was broadcasted live on YT.

I think ONEWE have only had a few shows before covid where fans could sing along (studio we #4 my beloved) and hype them up and they're my fav fancams to watch really!!😭 like even if there aren't many of us we love them fiercely!! and they know it I mean the fanchants for regulus when they could perform with an audience are proof of that! :p
