oh thank you for the reaction yeah, this is one of taemin chill songs, it was a repackage title track and sm was all like we gonna make the repackage title track just a korean version of Japanese single he released and he was like no and wrote, co-composed & finished the song plus creating a choreo for it in three days fun fact Taemin is her favorite dance partner according to her own words followed by her best friend tvxq yunho, she was the female voice saying "killing me" in idea, taemin & boa both expressed wanting to have a proper collab in future Yes tvxq are two members for like 12 years or so now, Yunho is the leader and main dancer & rapper. his entire comeback was great, he had mini mvs for all of the side tracks and even gave each song a movie poster. I agree with you "thank u" mv is one of my fav mvs ever Changmin had another mv for one of his b-sides called "maniac" which is great as well As for the mvs the thing is sm doesn't get involved with solo mvs (or solo comebacks for older idols/artists) most of the time unless the idol asked, I know "thank u" by yunho & "want, criminal, idea, advice" by Taemin & "bad love" by key are their own ideas and they even got into a disagreement with sm over it because they wanted to work with certain directors and have certain concepts that sm management team wasn't fully agreeing with their ideas, but in the end, they did what they wanted & did what they wanted with their own mvs & concepts, to the point that taemin did help editing his own mvs along with the director

Park Hyoshin omo,, I can't believe this but please react to him more, he is actually a top soloist in SK , for the past decades. He is more of a balladeer actually,, but he is a vocal athlete and yes ppl who watched him in his concerts said that his concerts are always magical. His concerts are rly one of the most anticipated concerts in SK, it runs for like 6 days? alll sold out and tickets are hard to purchase. The guys (the guitarist) he's with is the musical director of Parasite and Squid Game. Taemin actually filmed day & night at Jeju island. sm was going to just make a Korean version for a Japanese song of his to be the repackage title track, but he didn’t want that and wrote and co-composed the song and recorded it in 3 days then went to jeju to film the mv quickly then he created a choreo for it that he changed a bit and adjusted it with every performance. This song is very comforting and chill it helps a lot to listen to when I’m going through harder times The difference in mv views between Yunho and changmin mvs is because Yunho mv was because it’s a bit long so it’s harder to stream plus it was released last year, and Changmin went viral before the cb for his performance for of his b-sides during sm new year concert and the his mv went viral for a bit BoA is great and this cb is one of my fav title tracks of hers Most of the time sm solo artists mvs especially senior idols in the company is done by them, they contact the directors and production studios they want for their mv, they do take creative control Park hyoshin is amazing vocalist one of my fav k-artists

I knew you would vibe with eyedi - like from the moment you reacted to abittipsy by youha I knew you needed to hear this song! eyedi, yukika, and youha sit at the same table, at least in my heart. if you're looking for more, I really like &new from eyedi and while its k-indie, not kpop, you might like always with you by aseul, especially if you liked j.us.t. unfortunately j.us.t was the last single eyedi released and we haven't heard from her or her company about her since late 2020. thanks for reacting, I'm so glad you enjoyed!!

Funny how you said that BoA reminds you of Taemin cause it's actually a rite of passage for all male dance aces in SM to do a dance stage with BoA so ofc she has a dance stage with Taemin lol

Also I think you would absolutely love Changmin's Maniac (promo video but an MV for the song) and the Fever live stage too! They're both in the album for Devil but literally every Changmin's solo music is a masterpiece.

U-know and Changmin’s videos came out a year between each other lol…not days. Uknow- Thank You came out January 18, 2021 Max Changmin - Devil came out January 13, 2022 Lol 😆

Finally got round to watching this yay. Wow I think u-know's MV is one of the best ones I've seen yet. If he hadn't started danced halfway through I wouldve legit forgot it was an MV lolll. Btw Idk if you know but Boa and U-know has one of the most iconic friendship/dynamics in SM. The song of Boa's I think you were referring to is Only One and U-know was the one who starred in the vid. Anw I rly enjoyed watching marathons like this because I honestly wouldn't have checked out these vids on my own so thank you to everyone who requested these!!

I totally agree that Home sounds "religious" lol. Especially when the choral accompaniment comes in near the end. Idk if I've ever seen an in depth explanation for the MV. The simple one from parkhyosinplanet on WordPress says: "The music video shows a young boy and his journey to make a concert happen. Park Hyo Shin also is seen helping the little boy against bullies." He's definitely known for ballads, but both of my favorites songs of his that have MVs aren't ballads. One of his most famous ballads is Wildflower and that's almost always what people react to first.

Around the same time that U-Know came out with "Thank U", Golden Child came out with "Burn It". I saw a bunch of reactions for "Thank U", but pretty much nobody reacted to "Burn It" - which is a bit of a bummer. We've got a bunch of zombie K-Pop MVs (Sunmi's is a favorite), but not on the scale of "Burn It". Maybe I can get into one of your new tiers in April and request it... except that I'm already thinking of 5 other things. *sigh* Life is tough.
