Since I watched Superband I have only fallen deeper in love with Isaac. I would give him my heart and sould, istg. Every time I rewatch his Superband performances I can't help but cry.

The second song with Isaac and Woosung is still one of my all-time favorites from Superband S1. I really felt like they all brought out the best in each other. The guitarist on the far right in the last video is Kim Young-so from Hoppipolla. I could listen to all of them play for hours. Their style is so pleasing to the ear, especially with the percussive sounds mixed in so effortlessly. I think he and the other acoustic guitarists in that performance were all around 17-19 at the time of filming. Mind-blowing talent all around.

I would have paid so much money to see a Superband taping. As someone who has seen The Rose live...and know Woosung sounds the same live, I know I won't be disappointed. Especially, since Isaac vocal's kills me.

Also if I remember correctly, in regards to the third video, they did win that round. Wonsang (the bassist - who's also the bassist for LUCY in case you did not recognize him) is the one who picked out the three guitar players since they were known as prodigies or something for still being in school but playing the guitar really well. Since he's also a producer he was able to lead their team really well during that round. Fun fact the group they competed against that round had Yechan (also from LUCY) in it and you can see him reacting during their performance for a second.

the first 2 songs are original songs the contestants wrote for the show, which is why they're still up! so yeah you're right about the licensing haha. hell yes to more isaac love + i see you noting zairo's guitar work again. :) zairo is headed to the military soon, he's a solo artist. i have him in mind to rec his solo work from you another time. wonsang picking the 3 baby acoustic guitarists in the FIRST round of the show (other contestants went up to him after and were like, "you couldn't leave me ONE?!") and putting on THAT performance was so galaxy brain + huge risk that absolutely paid off. i appreciate your appreciation for the show! really glad you've been enjoying the reactions, we will continue to deliver. i still have 4 or 5 months worth of sb1 performances to request from you haha. and of course we aren't touching like, half of them, just the ones we like the most. you haven't even seen the original main vocal of lucy yet!!! or ANY of the finals performances of hoppipolla, lucy or purple rain (the top 3). then def getting to sb2 because it is seriously so amazing. final bands are performing tonight officially for the first time. i love all 6 bands.

Oh man, Isaac's voice. I have no words. :' ) Ethereal is the right word for With You. You partner Isaac's voice with Kevin's, tears are just expected to fall out. Mone's Take Away also gives me goosebumps. I feel it showcases Isaac's and Woosung's vocals so well. Gotta give it to Wonsang for trusting his guts in picking three guitarists and doing an instrumental performance in the very first round! It's so bold and risky but this just proves how great of a producer he is. He's LUCY's bassist, by the way. And as someone already mentioned, all three acoustic guitarists are prodigies, including Hoppipolla's Kim Youngso (he's the one on the rightmost side, wearing a white shirt). All three of them started learning the guitar at a young age and have already won awards in various guitar competitions. I feel you about the percussive instrumentation guitarists do with their guitars. It's so pleasing to hear and watch. For this round, they actually went against Hyunsang's team, composed of Hyunsang, Shin Yechan (now LUCY's violinist) and Hong Jinho (Hoppipolla's cellist). Yeah, the eventual team members went against each other, haha. Hyunsang's team also performed a Coldplay song with Viva La Vida but Wonsang's Adventure of a Lifetime team won the round. Thank you for a great reaction to Superband as always!

Zairo is still around. He's the guitarist in the background in performances on JTBC's _other_ (after Begin Again) reality/performance/busking show, Sea of Hope. Rose from Blackpink is on it, and if you look behind her, there's Zairo. He's about to enter the military, like Beks said. I'm glad that Beks showed you the second song, Take Me Away, because if I requested that one, you'd get three paragraphs of me being pissed off that Moné lost and is not a band today. I avoid listening to this song, because it is SO GOOD and it demonstrates to me what Moné could have been. After Moné formed after episode 11, they were the ONLY band of the six to do their own self-composed songs for semifinal and final episodes 12, 13, and 14 (Take Me Away, Wooing, and I Don't Care). I know they were doomed because the contracts were never going to work out, but Take Me Away still frustrates me every time. Beks and I will discuss when to transition to Superband 2. I'm head over heels (obscure hint) in love with one of the SB2 bands, but they will probably lose and never be heard from again. We'll see. That's the Superband magic. Oh, and if you like Isaac Hong, he has many appearances with fellow Moné member Benji on Benji's radio show, and he also has an I'm Live performance that's really good. There's some live performance fancams where one of the Moné members is performing, and suddenly one of the other Moné members shows up. They seem very comfortable with each other. It's worth finding if you like their vibe.

You should react to SuperBand2 performances too, Kim Yeji's audition covering the song "River" is EVERYTHING. She is who I'm hoping will win this season. (BTW, Hong Isaac is the most amazing vocalist and best find from the first season for me.)

JTBC made a lot of mistakes. I really don't know why they never bothered to subtitle the show. But maybe it does have to do with copyright clearance of the cover songs. So fans have been left to do all of the work. I think the first 9 or 10 episodes are out there now with subs. I recommend it to everyone. This was the greatest music competition show ever. I loved how much respect all of the musicians had for each other and how well they managed to work together when they all got mixed and matched together. Hyunsang also has a song called With You - it was the second part of his audition in ep. 1. The version he plays with his solo band is really excellent.
