Oh my, two Ateez videos in one day?! I feel spoiled lol Y’know, when I first heard The Leaders I actually really disliked the song, it’s just straight up not my style. But then Kingdom happened and after hearing it again as the intro for their The Real performance I decided to give it another listen and it really started growing on me since then. Nowadays I can actually enjoy listening to it and appreciate the song for what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Leaders is actually right up my alley and one of my favourite hype songs from them, but I see why others wouldn’t like it! I think it’s pretty sick that theyre all rapping in one track and I enjoyed the message. Loved Celebrate too, that’s Hongjoong’s produced track on this album that they promoted alongside Fireworks on music shows, Jongho nails that note live too, idk how he does it 😩 and yes finally Take Me Home! Easily one of ATZ’s most unanimously loved b sides and for good reason!

Honestly, I was really interested to see what you would think about this because Fever Pt.2 is my personal least favourite album 8/ This is my first time hearing most of the songs again since the initial release and it really didn't alter my opinions at all. I thought their first three minis were all excellent, every b-side on the Wave/Illusion album I absolutely loved. But even though the others have been a bit more hit & miss, I would say that I liked at least 75% or more of every album before these last two. Of course you'll like or dislike different songs than I did, but overall these albums are really not indicative of Ateez's discography I would say, so you shouldn't be anxious about diving in.

I'm kinda sad you let off Fireworks Heat Topping Remix... It is actually a mostly English version of Fireworks... Leaders is a grower the more you listen to it, they definitely used to much autotune in it, I think the song would have been much better if they toned it down on the vocalists parts, but I actually still like the song.

i feel you, i am gonna be a bridesmaid for 3 people in the next 6 months

nawt u liking skz songs but dont fuk with the leaders aight i’m out

The Real Jules

I've been a fan of ATEEZ since pre-debut, meaning I've been there for the full evolution of their discography. Personally, I have felt more tepid towards the b-sides of Fever era, not that they're all awful (hello, Take Me Home is stunning) but it doesn't feel quite a cohesive as their Treasure series. Honestly, please PLEASE do go back and do album listens to their earlier work and I swear you won't be disappointed. Probably my favourite album remains their third mini, as it contains two of my ultimate favourite ATEEZ songs ever: Aurora and Utopia, both b-sides. The Treasure series for me really excels by leaning into the island/Latin/sea shanty/edm mix and I loved it. I've not been able to easily put my finger on the musical through line for Fever, which is think is half the problem.

The Leaders is quite something hahaha Totally feel you about the autotune, they used it a lot for this album so I get that it's a concept choice, However I prefer when they don't use this much autotune! Take me home (pure gold) for me is the best song of this ep, I love it so much! Pls consider do listening party for older albums too :)

Again a reeeally long comment, sorry 🙂 For me, the Fever albums do not amount anywhere near to the awesomeness of the Treasure era ones. Fever era b-sides are good but aside from Take Me Home they haven't wowed me. Again this is my opinion, but Treasure era albums are beautiful and the b-sides are 👌and I think it would be really hard to top those. The albums have a really nice flow and they are cohesive, especially if you listen to them in order. The first and last albums tie the whole era beautifully and it actually makes me emotional whenever I listen to the songs (title tracks and b-sides alike) in release order. I highly recommend checking them out from first to last as the b-sides also carry the story line with the title tracks. The Leaders is still a so so song for me. It has definitely grown on me and I only recently added it but I still skip it most of the time when it comes up. Time of Love is nice. Not my favorite bright song, but definitely not bad. Take Me Home is stunning and Jonghos vocals shine brighter than the sun. This song makes me emotional every single time I hear it. Take Me Home is my favorite Ateez song right behind Answer. Nothing tops Amswer for me. I don't think anyone can really explain how wonderful it is, you just have to hear it to understand. Celebrate is a nice, feel-good song and the video is cute 😁 This was a fun reaction and again appreciated your opinions 👍

Oh my God, ep 3 is my favorite album too. So great! Epilogue has my favorite Ateez song (actually my favorite in general) but ep 3 really is a beautiful album.

KpopPrince

I've heard it before and I didn't care for it. I think it came up randomly once when I was at the gym haha

The OG_SG

I agree with everyone else saying you should go back and listen to the previous albums' b-sides. Treasure series is full of really good ones. In addition to the ones you have reacted to (Promise, Utopia, Aurora and Win), which I love, some other stand-outs for me are Light, Desire, Mist, Dazzling Light, Horizon (they have live stages!) and Precious. Also, you can't beat listening to Answer with the intro that leads into it, Declaration. They performed it for the Golden Disc Awards, and it was beautiful. The outfits in the Celebrate video are strange, but you're absolutely right that they pull them off. A lot of the accessories on their clothes (the skull, whale and turtle) are callbacks to the last scene in the Thanxx MV. I loved the look on your face while listening to Take Me Home. Priceless! ♥️ I also appreciate that you give your honest opinions on the songs. I agree that this album felt a bit disjointed and has some of my least favorite ATEEZ tracks.

i think in general the fever era albums don't hit the same way the treasure era albums do at least for me! but i do remember liking fever pt. 2 more than pt.1 when i first heard it. in general, however, my favorite albums of theirs are ep. 3 one to all (wave era) and ep.fin all to action (wonderland era). the b-sides of those albums are RIDICULOUSlY GOOD, like legitimately there are no skips. i can't wait till you get to their earlier albums because the b-sides really do shine even more and are really what got me to stan them. i also think you might be the first person i see to not like the leaders lol but that's all right to each their own! i think once we finally get a live performance of that song it'll go crazy.

I laughed so hard at your reaction to the sax coming in that I had tears streaming down, I had to stop the video because I couldn’t see. I did under-sell it a bit personally as I couldn’t tell you why I thought you would love it without spoiling anything! I just knew those synths would get you. And omg YES Gunship! Did I miss you mentioning them before, or did I forget?! A friend introduced me to them via Fly For Your Life a couple years ago and I instantly fell in love. Fitting too, as I love the sax in Dark All Day in particular. You and I are internet besties now, no choice. I feel you on The Leaders though. The whispering and heavy bass does it for me, but not the rest. I do feel like the album is solid, but Fireworks and Take me Home are completely responsible for that. I do like the remix of Fireworks although I don’t listen to it often. I’ll agree with what many have said already – that the Treasure era albums are better. Probably the only Ateez albums that I don’t skip any songs on. They are way more cohesive. I do appreciate their growth with other styles like they have done in albums since then though even if I don’t always like every song.

i ain’t talkin about no autotune im talkin bout that noise shit👎🏾 but u do u supporting racists and anti black artists,, imma head out on this one

HumbleAndKindness

I personally liked Fever part 1 more than part 2 (I literally loved all the bsides from pt 1😂), but holy heck Take me home really was the best bside I've ever heard!! Also celebrate! Its one of Hongjoong's compositions and Prod. By Hong songs don't miss 🔥 The leaders for me is okay, I really love Wooyoung's part in the chorus(?), but between The leaders and To the beat, I think TTB is more my taste 😅 Though, I'm happy that all the members could try out rapping in that song :") Anyway, this comment got long lol, but I would really LOVE to see a live band version of Take me home and Celebrate one day omg😭

HumbleAndKindness

Oh I forgot to say, Celebrate was released a bit earlier back in November 2020 with a special hand written lyric video for Atiny's anniversary! Its basically a birthday song for us ♥ It was only up for one day on the 17th and was unlisted the next day

wooyo

hope u consider an album reaction to Young K ‘Eternal’ 🥺

unpopular opinion but time of love was my fav off of the album haha

Psymese

I joined here just for your reaction to Take Me Home! And you didn’t disappoint.😁 It’s my fav song ever since I first heard it. Haven’t stopped loving it and listening to it on repeat daily lol. So seeing someone else react in the same way for the same reasons, just makes me feel like I’m hearing it again for the first time. Your reaction to the sax is my fav part of reactors discovering this song. So thank you! I actually agree with all your reactions to this album tho I do enjoy the remix of I’m the one.🤷🏻‍♀️😊 But yeah..Take Me Home is just that song for me. Glad you loved it too. My fav groups are also Stray Kids and Ateez…also Monsta X..they all tied for first.🥰 So I’m looking forward to watching more of your content.😁

KpopPrince

Thank you and welcome! I saw them perform "Take Me Home" live yesterday and it was amazing. Cool wall prop work
