Where can I sign up for that podcast episode? As long as the comparison isn't done for malicious reasons, I'm totally here for it. And there's nothing wrong with pointing out observations or even things that can be improved with practice. That little move in Skip Skip is really similar to the Dingga Dingga move, and it's such a great and fun song! The instrumental reminded me of Oneus' LIT, maybe it's the traditional instruments, but now I'm happy that one little song can be connected in my head with two great groups that I already love. Goeun is such a great center (she was born to be in the center), but I think Chaein is the one who is really the all-rounder in the group. I hope we can see more of Jieun in the future! And WOW Yuki is such a natural rapper, Purple Kiss is the first group that I want them to debut in Japan ASAP, because this is Yuki rapping in a foreign language, I can't even imagine her true power. Her parts are perfect in every single song (her flow and charisma are definitely not on rookie level), and sometimes she's all smile, sometimes she is dominating the stage - wow.

Yuki looks like she's having a blast on stage. 😁 Showcasing Skip Skip and giving it some extra attention is a good move on their part.

Concerning the podcast bit, FifiZappa (a kpop reactor on YouTube) has an amazing podcast that she does weekly so perhaps you guys could do an episode together?? That would be so cool

They actually did a performance of Period as well (at their fan showcase). Its on the "Purple Subs" channel if you want to check it out. Its absolutely beautiful

They have such amazing stage presence already, definitely monster rookies right out of the gate. And I think that podcast episode sounds like a great idea, it's definitely a topic that would be interesting to dive into

wowjuswow

I feel like since I followed their pre-debut journey seeing their debut is insane. And I definitely agree that some of the girls (especially Dosie) have a completely different on-stage vibe then I originally imagined. Man picking a bias is gonna be TOUGH😭

I also think Swan is totally nailing it in her center time. It's is after all traditional at RBW to use people with awesome skills who don't fit the standard image. I hope Hwasa's smoothed that path for her.

Just watched it. Performance is great. I also like the two clips from the live radio show.

I was really impressed by the "Period" live performance at the showcase. My PURPLE KISS bias is Swan and I am totally in love with her singing voice. She is my ultimate K-Pop vocal bias and her "Period" performance left me in awe.

You can tell they came from RBW in terms of their stage presence. That company doesnt let anyone out of the gate without knowing how to work the stage, and we're all so here for it! EDIT: I honestly keep forgetting how to space on here but anyway, imo I say rant away! I'd love to hear this podcast that's in the works. Unless it's malicious and hateful, comparison is inevitable and breeds constructive criticism that's pretty crucial for improvement. Keep doing you, man And yes, Skip Skip is so good. I hear, like Ponzona, it and Period were all made from trainee evaluation tests before being polished and put on their debut album. RBW really out here with so much faith in their artists. They just debuted but I hope you're right about their 2nd album being just around the corner. They'd definitely be smart to ride the debut high but RBW's only weak point is that promo (to be fair, they are getting better) so who knows. Oneus did release quite a few tracks in their debut year.
