Its past midnight when I watched this but I had to because for one I love this show (one of my fave episodes too) and also I really love how relatable your reactions are. I really love watching variety content of idols too because you can really see their personality. Everything you said in this reaction about Sunmi seeming like a truly genuine person, how Chungha seems like she could really use this type of thing and these friendships in her life, and how Hani is such a good leader I totally agree with. One of my favorite things in Kpop is the interactions between idols and especially when it is with idols outside of their group. I am glad you like reacting to variety content so much because I really like it too. You should definitely check out the recent weekly idol episode with Dreamcatcher because their true personalities could not have shown more (Its hilarious and chaotic just like always).

Man, having breakfast while watching this was the best start to a day I've had in a while. Thanks so much! This show is the embodiment of everything I love about K-pop and a few of the things I wish would change. Seeing these hard-working, incredibly talented people be honest and share things with each other is beautiful. Stuff like borderline and impostor syndrome are probably way more common in this industry than I'd like to believe, and it's heartbreaking. "I'd step in front of a bus for her" is something I think all the time, and it sucks that they're often carrying too much on their shoulders. The recent Weekly Idol with DC was amazing! Highly recommended. I've also had a lot of fun with Yuqi's Learn Way, though that's much more light-hearted. And, at risk of sounding like a broken record, I really do recommend you check out Miss Back when the whole show's been translated. Based on your reaction to Running Girls, I think it's right up your alley.

Yes there is lots of clips from IOI of Chungha and Somi speaking English, and everyone around them looking confused lol. Her dad probably was pretty awkward, from what I heard this is the first time she has shown her dad to the public. Her mother has been in a few things. And yeah her biological father died when she was like 14 or 15, but she is really close with her stepfather. She took his last name on her own, after she had already become an adult.

Chungha does look kind of tired and overworked. But i don't think she has shared a lot about her family life. I know in an interview with Jessi she said her mother is in Korea, but its possible one of the reasons she doesn't see her dad a lot is b/c he is working in America? That is just speculation, but its possible since her family moved to Texas and lived there for a long time. Yooa debuted as a soloist in 2020, the korean title of her song translates to "child of the woods" instead of Bon voyage which is the western title.

I’m watching this reaction at 6 in the morning but man i agreed with so many things you said this episode. One thing i definitely want to say is that Sunmi is the most genuine person i’ve seen in kpop. Nothing she says or does seems forced and when she’s on variety shows like this you can tell she just wants to take care of those around her. Also, I would love to see your reaction to Dreamcatcher’s weekly idol episode that just came out. It was hilarious
