haven't watched this yet but did you prepare your tissue? hahahahaa

I swear I've never NOT cried during this episode. Pentagon are SO sincere and like Jinho said, a family. Which is why I've fallen so deeply in love with all of them. Daisy was without Jinho yes and also YES Jinho has POWERHOUSE vocals. He sang those high notes while CRYING?!! Definitely check out his Magazine Ho covers on YouTube sometime! He has a ton (personal favourite is When I Was Your Man - Bruno Mars, but choose any cover and it'll be amazing) Just an FYI: Jinho's service is 40-50% done and Hui was supposed to enlist early December but he had to be in quarantine (due to having contact with someone who tested positive) so it was post-poned with no new date as of now. So he's still with us, but we don't know for how much longer.

I was thinking of you while watching this haha. I don't have an attachment to the group like you, so while it was definitely emotional, I can't imagine your first time watching it!

I cried every time I watched this episode hahah... I love this performance so much because of the emotions and also cuz the songs are amazing! Jinho and Hui are two of the most talented vocalists in kpop (I recommend you check out their Immortal Songs performance- it’s crazy) but it’s so sad how underrated they are :( I hope you could check out their covers! Some notable ones are When I Was Your Man by Jinho and Dalla Dalla by Hui :) I do think that their performance lacked on the technical difficulty/performance aspect, but what made it so amazing was the emotion and the meaning behind the performance. It’s definitely one of my favorite and most memorable performances of the show though! Can’t wait to see your reactions to the next performances! Some really awesome performances came out of this round :)

Honestly means so much to me!! They just hold a very special place in my heart and that's not gonna change any time soon

A lot of groups go to the stylist prior to shows/stages and between there the stylist leave clips in their hair to make their hair stay in place and they take it out before the stage lol

Heeey - Pentagon did the song thinking the emotional part wouldn't count towards their score at all, but instead negatively impact. They saw this as a sacrificed stage because they wanted to give Jinho a nice send off. I think they rehearsed him being left on stage and then they all come back in and Hui says his part then start Spring snow - I don't think Jinho knew about the video at all. He said he gave 100% effort to not cry since he's the oldest lol

What i love about Pentagon on the show, is that they did different styles of performances...rock and fun with "Very Good", cute and fun (and sad) with this performance...and without spoiling i can say that the other performances left are different between them. I love everyone on the show and their amazing perfomances but you saying that someone already did "Phantom of the Opera"(?) Its what i mean, many performances were similar on style. And of course the fact that Pentagon did everthing live was a plus.

Actually about the military thing, I've seen a few people saying Pentagon were "laying it on thick" and being "over dramatic" and they even got a bit of hate for the stage because people were saying it was a ploy to get more votes. Pentagon has been through many hardships, years of training together, a survival show together, E-Dawn (a member and one of the main producers for them along side Hui) left the group due to a ridiculous dating scandal (he's dating Hyuna), their Chinese member Yanan was injured and had to take a hiatus and his status in the group was unknown at the time of this (at least to us fans), he had posted on his personal social media that he was healed and ready to come back to the group but Cube had not been giving him any information and sometimes not even responding to him. (Luckily he is finally back with them and was present for Daisy!) So they were already dealing with members missing and now the dependable oldest member was going off for two years...it's heart breaking :c two whole years they have to go without him, two whole years Jinho has to go without doing what he loves most, performing. And after his service is up, or maybe even during Jinho's service, Hui (their leader) will have to start getting ready to enlist as well :l so it will be a while before Pentagon can be a full group again.

apparently, it was me who didn't prepare the tissue (again) this time watching your reaction hahahaaa

I listen casually to kpop but I've honestly nvr stanned a group before until Pentagon. I dont buy albums or any sort of thing. But look at me now paying for Patreon membership just to see people react to Pentagon and diving into Pentagon archives. Loll. These boys are like family to each other and they deserve the world. It kills(!!!) me how underrated they are. 😩

Just to answer your question about Korean military. The age limit for the enlistment is 30 y/o, which would mean 29 for those living outside of South Korea. I don't know if they can extend it above this limit. However there have been a few exemptions in the past, especially for athletes because they are needed to promote SK and considered very valuable to the country. I'm not even sure they have a say in it or if the government chooses for them. As military service is mandatory, exemptions don't always sit well with Koreans, but that's another story.

Pentagon is the first (and until now only) kpop group from which I've bought an album. I'm a casual listener, generally speaking, but something about them is just precious to me.

Dear lord, I love ONF. They're so cute. Oh no, It's SHINE/Spring Snow and it hurts :( Especially since it affected how other groups' fans voted, since they claimed Pentagon was fake crying to gain sympathy votes [???] and argh, these people Anyway, Jinho was happy/sad/glad, the members got to say their temporary goodbyes on their own terms, and that's all that matters to me in the end
