Great reaction, I'm glad you enjoyed the album! Chuck is also my favourite track, followed by Good Night, Aya, Travel, and then Diamond. I do really enjoy every song though, I think you'll learn that Mamamoo very rarely disappoint with their b-side tracks (: And fun fact about the album: Mamamoo have explained that since none of us can travel anywhere at the moment due to COVID, the concept of this album was to allow us to go on a vacation through music instead. That's why the album is filled with a bunch of different sounds that evoke different emotions. And I'd definitely recommend buying the album by the way. I have the Light Green version and it's absolutely gorgeous. Also, I do enjoy your album reactions with the lyric videos, so I'd personally prefer you to keep doing them this way if that's also what you enjoy doing! Although there can be a few mistakes here and there, I think Zaty Farhani usually has reasonably accurate videos, so I'd recommend continuing with that channel.

You hit the nail right on the head. Mamamoo’s b-sides are usually better than their title tracks, so that’s why checking out the rest of their music is essential to really get to know them. That’s also why at some point in the future, I hope you continue checking out the rest of their various mini albums and full length albums, because their are just a multitude of amazing b-side still for you to hear, and that’s also where the girls usually go off the most. I also think a lot of people undervalue MoonStar as a serious rapper and vocalist, and that’s because they never took the time to listen to more than Mamamoo’s title tracks or they would know just how much of a monster force she really is.

It's interesting. You actually nailed how Wheein's name is pronounced. The Korean way to say her name is indeed Hwee-in based on the hangul. Noone knows why the English is somehow changed to Whee-in instead of Hwee-in

Just a little clarification for Diamond. Diamond is a song that talks about finding the Diamond within ourselves and the person talking at the beginning of the song and the one doing the little adlibs like "You find that" is actually Solar, not Moonbyul. Sometimes those Color Coded Lyrics videos aren't quite right on who's the member singing or even the lyrics. If you want to watch these, only trust lyrics videos made by the fanbase of the group. Btw the members contributed in writing the songs. Moonbyul wrote and composed Aya + co-wrote Travel, Dingga, Chuck, Good Night. Hwasa instead co-composed Dingga, she did the hook. They play a huge role on their albums and always participate in songwriting.

Better late than ever: for me Chuck is my favorite but man Wheein acapella part on Good Night is something else.... always give me chills. After listenning to all of their albums, it's so chocking that almost nobody talk about how Moonbyul can fit her raps in any style of music without feeling a sense of break, in a lot of Kpop i just feel like they "break" the song for the rap part just to have a rap part, but with Moonstar it's just so smooth, always on point. It's probably due to the fact she wrotes all of her rap part but still what a talented woman

I think one of the reasons why Chuck was not selected as the main track is because it's not entirely written by RBW's in-house producers (CEO Kim Do Hoon & Park Woosang). Majority of the songs in Travel (and even in previous MMM albums) were written by these two. Chuck, Diamond & Goodnight were co-produced with outside producers.

For future lyrics video reaction I suggest searching them on "Mamamoo archives" channel on youtube, the lyrics there are translated by LilySUBS and Ch0sshi who are two official subbers in the fandom, you will have acurate lyrics with them ( and they are fans so they truly knows who sing what and when).

Actually, 9.5 times out 10 when there's layered vocals during moonbyul's verses it's her harmonizing with herself, including her rap in in good night. On the other hand, all the seductive talking parts in diamond were done by solar, not moonbyul.
