A leader and center are very different bro jihyo is 100 percent the leader in terms of taking care of the group and talent wise even though unrelated she’s the best vocalist and top three dancers that’s why she covered taemin with taemin and momo nayeon is the face and oldest but jihyo is definitely the leader not to sound like I’m coming for nayeon or anything but once’s know she definitely is the leader and no offense to you I enjoyed your reaction it was just weird how you said she gets treated like the leader because this is a stage it has nothing to do with being a leader that’s how you take care of your members not anything related to the stage performance like in gfriend sowon might not be a main or lead anything but she is the leader leader has nothing to do with talent it’s about the personal side and off camera stuff FYI nayeon is the fake maknae she’s very childish and playful fun and leader isn’t a position fans picked this is done by them so it is official for all groups FYI I know you’re pretty new to kpop so letting you know only blackpink doesn’t have a leader officially as far as I know

I find that companies typically highlight their leaders as a pseudo face in intros/outros of songs, advertising, ect. I think that's true the majority of the time, but I get you that it's not always the case. Hyunjin of Stray Kids, for example, gets pushed to the foreground WAY more than Chan. I guess it stems from me knowing TWICE as a group since debut and always seeing Nayeon highlighted, which was obviously before I knew how positions worked. With Blackpink, I agree that they say there's no leader. Jennie is pretty damn close to that though with how YG handles things. A face at the very least. I'm still learning though!

I think it's the heavy use of auto-tune and I see more of it as a whole performance rather than just a song. So I don't like just listening to the audio. I really enjoyed their ON performance in PT4 of my MAMA videos!

You always sound so passive aggressive when you talk about BTS. haha. Is that just me? Maybe I'm reading into it. I get that you don't like Dynamite and ON but their stages are always iconic esp at these award shows and they brought in a whole marching band and flyers and did a dance break for ON and it was worth seeing because of the scale alone. I'm just saying--with BTS, a group literally know for their performance and stage--not watching a show bc you don't like the song can mean you're missing out on something truly epic.
