Right before the buzzer yet again. I'm really glad Quibble came back; I love that guy. GF's daughter was kind of a brat, but I guess that's understandable when your dad is dead and mommy's sleeping with a fat nerd.

For some reason I got a ton of new people throwing down money this month, as well as a bunch of you regulars increasing your amounts, so thank you guys for that. We're approaching the home stretch here, and then I'll have to figure out what to do with my life once the show's over.  I don't have much to say this time because I'm tired as all hell. I took a whole week off at the beginning of this month because I got sucked into watching Game of Thrones, and then I had to scramble to do a whole video in three weeks. Not gonna do that again. Anyway, I'll catch you guys later. As always, if you have any questions, you know what to do.

I mean, ya'll know you could still do alright post-finale by continuing the content on episodes you haven't covered (there's gotta be more than a few favorites of yours out there you'd just love to desecrate), but I imagine it wouldn't be long at all before that's simply not enough for you, either creatively or financially. Whatever you do man, please keep doing comedy. You're just too good at it and I'm sure you could find a new market for your style in any number of mediums, even if you move away from vids like these. It'll probably also be a nice change of pace to hilariously self-flagellate to something other than the tune of the colorful-albeit-forever-corrupted phenomenon that was poni.

The wizard joke killed me man. Great shit. I'm always impressed at how much better your editing and lip syncing gets with each video. Sorry it took me so long to start backing you on here but I'm happy I am now. As to what comes next, not sure what but I hope you do something creative because you're damn good at it and I would miss you a lot (full homo).

Actually had a chance to watch now. Solid as always with a few totally legit lols (and one totally-not-legit-because-they-never-are-and-never-should-be-loli-I-feel-like-I-had-to-make-the-joke-before-someone-else-did-jesus-fuck-i-feel-really-awkward-right-now-somebody-please-remove-my-fingers-and-also-my-hyphen-key), but as frequently mentioned by others the real star continues to be the editing. It's so seamless I wouldn't even think to comment on it if others didn't.

I concur, you're *killing it* with the lip sync, and in some places you're editing it into the scene as it plays out?? We don't deserve this.

Eskalion

Great work dude you made my day! Keep up the good work!

Oh no

Watching Game of Thrones is a good use of your time because now you have a nice, baseline understanding of how badly a show can fuck up it's finale and completely tank 9 years of fan good will. Now when MLP inevitably does the same you'll already be too dead inside to care.

My two cents: If you enjoy your work process, if its something you can see yourself doing for another year or two, then move on to another series. I'm convinced your style would work anywhere, Your brand of harsh/cynical reality injection into happy-go-lucky stories coupled with biting dialogue is your main attraction. You'll lose some audience if you move off of MLP, but quality and consistency will earn you a larger and more loyal one. Reach out to other creators for crossovers or cameos. With talented friends, you could even create something original, like with what Dawn Somewhere (MAS) tried to do, but with greater success. I guess I'm trying to say GO NETWORK. That's my two cents. Good luck in your future ventures man.

Harmless Kitten

Man, good shit as always! Like everyone else says, your lip sync is freaking amazing. As to what you do after MLP, assuming G5 doesn't blow our nuts off, if you wanted to keep making music, I sure wouldn't hate it, because you're talented as hell at it.

TonySki

Wait, so it takes you 3 weeks to kick out an episode? Is Patreon your side chick you gotta stay hidden from your real job? Either way Great work and I can see you doing some amazing shitposts with the celeb ponies saying absolutely ridiculous shit with your editing work now.

This /is/ my job, man. Each one of these videos is 2-300 hours of work, depending on the length. It takes at least a week to write the script, then I have to record and edit the audio, which takes at least two days, because I do 10-15 takes per line and I end up with 3 hours of recording that has to be edited down to an 8-10 minute track. Then I'll record and mix the intro music, as well as any other musical bits. I don't use any pre-made midi files or anything like that for the song covers - I have to learn to play each part with a guitar or bass, or map it out on a synth, so that's another 2 days at minimum. Then comes the video editing itself. Each minute of video takes 1-2 days depending on the complexity of the editing - and we're talking 10-12 hour days, not normal 8 hour work days. I have to do all that lip-syncing frame-by frame - these videos are 23.976 fps, so for an 8 minute video, that's about 11,500 frames. People think I'm lazy for only putting out one or two videos a month, but this is more than a full time job.

TonySki

Wow. your amount of work is on par with the stuff that Ross from Accursed Farms does with Freeman's Mind. I'm not saying your lazy. On the contrary it sounds like you put too much work into it. I'll have to double my payment.

DWK

You don't have to do that man, I was just making the point that it definitely does take three weeks, and it turned into a wall of text.

Waldo

Hey. HEY listen, I'm drunk, so I'm gonna say this before I sober up (you've been here) I love you as a creator and as a person. I need you to tell me where I can send you $10-15 like every time I get drunk. I sent stamper $7 while stone cold sober, so it's cool. Just don't want you to fucking die, because then I'll have to kill myself, too, and I have plans next month.

DWK

As someone who's made some shitty financial decisions while intoxicated, I'm not gonna tell you shit. You'll thank me tomorrow.

Tradley

I'd say either go back and check out a select few of the older episodes of MLP that you'd like to tackle, or move onto anime.

MyDogCarla

Excellent work as always. Love you my dude! <3 Keep up the good work and remember to sleep and eat!

MikhailLovesSubnautica

Hey, how do I send donations? Not sure if I got charged for this episode, but I want to pitch in.

DWK

If it's just a one-time thing, I have a paypal. I don't know if patreon will let me link it here directly, but if you look in the description of any one of my videos, it's listed there.

Bea Metitiri

What do you mean you're not sure what you're going to do after the show ends? There's so many episodes you haven't recapped, I want you to do all the episodes. And then just start making up your own episodes because honestly your writing this season has been way better than the show's itself. I basically remember your version as canon at this point.

Shitlord

Unrelated question, who's the girl in your pfp? (Probably you answered this somewhere, but I can't find the answer)

DWK

She's a giant demonic tentacle monster from some weird porn I found once. The character's facial expressions cracked me up because they were so goofy in contrast to the violent sex acts that were taking place.
