Sorry for the long, long silence -- TetZooCon and a great deal of work have kept me away from any progress on the textbook. I desperately need to get back to it.

Anyway - I've been drawing more geckos for the big squamate section of the reptile chapter. Here's what we have so far - a few more taxa are needed and that'll do. I also opted to number them to see what that looks like (I think I'll use this system in the final book). The animals here represented lineages needed for cladograms and so on. What we have here is (1) Pachydactylus, a gekkonid; (2) Sphaerodactylus the sphaerodactylid; (3) Carphodactylus, a carphodactylid; (4) Lialis, a pygopodid; (5) Diplodactylus, a diplodactylid; and (6) Coleonyx, a eublepharid. I also want a phyllodactylid and probably a Uroplatus and giant Hoplodactylus, plus maybe one or two stem-gekkotans.

It should take much more work to finish the reptile chapter now - the issue is that other jobs and the Eotyrannus monograph (which I also haven't touched for months) are ahead of it in the queue.

Thanks so much for support - more coming soon.
