Aw... she looks so sad 😢 and yet she's painted so beautifully. You've done a sensational job on this one, the colours are gorgeous with the warm tones of her hair, skin and dress set against her cool background with blue eyes distinct amidst her red hair and rosy cheeks. The detailing in her hair is fantastic as usual and the rendering of her dress is gorgeous, it looks a little more painterly than usual which I think makes the many folds look even better, especially with how they wrap over her thigh. Her face is just stunning and as I mentioned, I adore her rosy red cheeks and blue eyes, the emerging tears look fantastic and the rendering of her skin is sensational, just like the clothes, it appears more painterly, perhaps with even more texture to it which I love (her nose and lips too are extra great due to this) 😍💜. And lastly, the lighting is gorgeous, just like the contrast between warm and cool tones, the distinction between the brightest lights across her arm and leg looks great against the darker tones elsewhere. I've been saying this constantly but it bears repeating, this really is your greatest month of works and given how fantastic previous months were, that's really saying something, not only is this a beautiful painting from a technical standpoint, you also nailed the emotional side perfectly 😄. Gorgeous work, Didi 😍💜💚💜💚💜💚😍, this is definitely among my favourites 😻😻😻.

In the description it says "She just broke up with her lover and now tries to be happy." So I'm assuming that whatever she's reading gives her happier memories and so she ends up partially smiling despite the sorrowful tears :).
