I've been very excited to see the final version of the Elvira painting, the WIP looked so alluring and sexy and you know how much I love pale characters 🤍🤍🤍 In this final piece, I really like the colours! The background is nice with the dark tones at the edges, transitioning into a mix of lighter blue-greys and yellow-greys, with the mix of cool and warm tones looking very vibrant. The pale skin tones of Elvira contrast so strongly with her own black hair and outfit as well as the darker edges of the background (And I also like the rough, scratchy texture of the background with clear, visible brush strokes). Looking at the rendering, I will say I do like the pumpkins a lot too, with their rippling shapes and deep creases between the ripples, with the clear contrasts between light and dark tones being quite striking. The mix of smooth blending and painterly brush strokes is always nice to see and I do love how the little pumpkin is blushing 🥰🎃 Elvira herself is just terrific and I absolutely love what you did with her hair colour. The mix of blue and yellow edge-lighting looks so vibrant and matches the background colours perfectly. I also really like that halo of grey-blue shine in the centre of her hair and the deep blacks of the hair are wonderfully painted, as are the deep creases between strands of hair. I really like the smooth textures of her clothes too, with the bra portion looking lovely with smooth, large areas of light on the breasts, with dark core-shadows and large golden lighting from the pumpkins too. These effects all come together to give great shape and depth to the breasts while looking so nice and vibrant too. I also like the sleeves, with her right arm having these hanging, rippling folds with a mix of pale-grey lighting from above and some subtle orange tinting as they fall onto the pumpkin. While the sleeve on her left arm being softer and less bold in colour allows it to fade into the background, while still having a nice yellow edge-light to add definition to it. And the V-shaped cloth running down over her body looks really nice too with its soft, smooth, rippling folds, which look vibrant with the coloured lighting running through the folds. Her body and skin tones are just perfect too! I can't get over how gorgeous her pale tones look and the large areas of light and shadow do a lovely job defining her forms, especially her thighs which have such great volume and tonal contrast to them 🥰🥰🥰 (And I like the detail of warmer, brown tones along the bottom of her thighs where they touch the reddish-brown floor) The details on her hands are really great too, lovely textures and definition of the fingers. I especially like her left hand with contrasting light and shadow, as well as bright yellow edge-lighting, all working so well together. Her breasts too look gorgeous with their large, contrasting areas of light and dark giving them such volume and I really like the detail where the pumpkin gives an orange glow to one of them. The face is very striking too, particularly with the warmer tones of her blushing cheek, nose and vibrant, luscious lips really standing out against the pale skin. Likewise, the deep black eye-lashes frame her blue eyes so nicely and I like how there's bits of blue mixed into the skin around her eye for extra contrast. She looks very striking, captivating and lovely! 🥰🥰🥰 Absolutely wonderful work on this piece, Didi!
