I've been very excited to see this painting and I'm sure you know exactly why! 😉💜 These colours are just lovely and starting off with the background, I do like the colour gradient from cool blues at the top, blending down into those warmer tones in the lower half. The contrast is really nice and you have warm tones within the blues and vice versa too which just makes everything all the more vibrant. I also like the blur to the floating rocks, along with Raven's floating cape, it helps to add to the sense of motion in the scene. The colours for Raven herself are just gorgeous! I love the brighter purple for her cape, with the darker, richer purple of her hair standing out nicely despite being the same colour. Her pale skin looks gorgeous and still has a sense of warmth to it that lets it really pop against the cool purples and blues of her clothes. Likewise, the warm red and golds of her jewels are also a great contrast to the cooler tones. The rendering is lovely, with the cape having a gorgeous texture to it. The shine is lovely with a strong contrast between light and dark tones and I like how towards the bottom of the cape, there are warm pink tones mixed in, adding to the vibrancy. The smoother, smeared textures here also look really nice and painterly too and you did a great job with how the cape flows, ripples and overlaps on itself. The red jewels look great too with the shine being really striking and eye-catching, same with the gold trims, I also like how some blue is mixed into the gold. The blue clothes are really nice too, I like the tight creases and folds on the sleeves a lot! The deep shadows look really nice and the overall texture of the material is so nice and smooth, the gradient from subtly brighter tones along the top of the sleeves, down towards the darker tones is so smooth and gorgeous. Her actual outfit looks terrific too, again with that beautiful smooth texture and blending and I like the little shine spots both on and under her left breast. The blue edge-lighting along her waist and back are great too, accentuating where her ribs overlap her waist on her right side. The bright blue lighting is also a really nice separation between her dark blue outfit and the purple behind it. I did just notice a slight issue though 😅 Under her left armpit, there's a gap between the arm and her back, almost like a thin chunk of her back has been sliced out. But that should be easy to fix! 😸 Back to the positives though! All of the plane changes on her torso are lovely, I really like the smoothness of her ribs and abs, as well as the tight folds running between her breasts. The definition of the breasts is really nice too, with bright lighting along the top and core shadows wrapping around the undersides, with smooth bounce-lights within those shadows. Raven's body looks wonderful too! I absolutely love her hips and thighs which look so smooth thanks to the beautiful blending and textures here. The smooth lighting along the top planes of her thighs blend so seamlessly down into the surrounding darker tones and I love the thin edge-lighting on the thighs for a nice contrast to the shadows. I also really like the dark shadows at her hips too as they cut inwards towards her pelvis, separating the hips and thighs really well. The hands look great as well with contrasts in light and darks defining the plane changes for her palms and fingers. Some other nice details I hadn't mentioned are the folds along the top of her left sleeve with the bright tones along the folds adding some shine to them. And of course all of the little occlusion shadows cast onto her body from her clothes or where her body parts overlap are great! Now at last looking at her head, her hair is just beautiful! Goodness this is such a perfectly rich, royal purple and I'm in love! The very top of the hair is fantastic with the bright edge-light and alternating dark and light tones running down the hair, giving it a luscious shine. The hair is beautifully detailed too and I'm simply in love! Her face is gorgeous as well, the smooth light shining straight down onto her face, surrounded by shadows looks fantastic, creating a strong contrast in tone while also defining her features really well. I also love the subtle pink tones you've mixed in, like surrounding her red forehead jewel and blended into her cheeks and along her jaw. The definition of her cheeks and nose are so nice and her lips are also such a rich, lovely colour with a luscious texture that looks so nice. I also really enjoy her pale purple eyes with the subtle glow within the purple! Overall, fantastic work on this piece, Didi! The colours are so rich and gorgeous with terrific contrasts and textures! I need to amend my comment as I've made a mistake 😅 I opened up the PSD file and if I turn off the layer for Raven's powers, that gap between her arm and armpit goes away. Sorry about that! I'm definitely going to have some fun playing with this PSD for sure!

Oh, She turned out lovely. No idea how you've made it with the problems you've spoke earlier about, I know only that you did a bloody good job with her. Gotta see the variants, as I'm again burried under the work -.- Get older they've said, it will be fun they've said.... mhm, yeah, right. CAn't wait to see the next project of yours, I'm sure it will be adorable.
