Oh wow, this is such a lovely, beautiful surprise, Didi! 😻😻😻😻😻 I love the whole idea of this painting, it's like one of your Daki paintings except with the extra versions and lingerie included 😸 Starting off, I really like Tifa's pose, the way she looks right up at us with this sly smirk is just so sexy! Her short hair is just gorgeous too and I especially like how it gets all messy and starts spreading out and wrapping over the pillow, adding a nice bit of motion to the pose. I like the way that you've added bits of dynamism to this pose, with Tifa's head turned in the opposite direction of her body, the asymmetry of her arms and having one of her legs starting to rise. And she looks so sensual and alluring too, with her hand teasingly placed on her pelvis, with her thumb caressing the top of her belt and fingers reaching towards somewhere naughty. I also love how her thighs crossover, accentuating their curves and rubbing together. What's also sexy is how her breasts really pop here, they nicely overlap the straps and skin tones underneath, with the white colour contrasting with both the warm skin and other dark materials. The rendering here is just gorgeous and although the background is simple, you've done some really clever things with it. The blue-ish tint to the pillow and sheets means that they contrast well with Tifa herself, making her more distinct. While the warm edge-lighting on the pillow makes it pop out from the sheets too, with the little cast shadows underneath the pillow further separating the two materials. The actual textures of the sheet are wonderful too, with long, flowing and rippling brush strokes. And as for the rendering of Tifa herself, well I absolutely love her hair! It's very vibrant with the top planes glowing with a warm, yellowish tint, while some of the lower parts have this subtle blue hue to them, creating a really nice contrast in tone. The texture and detail of the hair is terrific too and I just love how many strands are rendered and they flow, interlock and overlap. The warm glow on both the hair and pillow makes me imagine that her bed is near a window and some warm sunlight is shining through and bathing her with light ☀️ Her clothes are very nice too, all of the straps and the vest are well rendered with great lighting. With the vest, I like how her raised arm casts a wide shadow that wraps over the top of her left breast, accentuating its shape well and contrasting with the bright lighting. While her right breast has this bright shine spot that transitions outwards towards gradually darker tones, wrapping around the breast and defining it very well. The belt and skirt both have a great texture to them and I really like the edge-light that runs along the top of the belt, defining the plane change between its top and front. The skirt is really lovely with a mixture of smooth rendering and starker, painterly brush strokes. The skirt over her left thigh looks smooth with some painterly light and dark strokes cutting through it, while the other thigh has these lovely, rippling brush strokes popping against the overall dark tones. As for Tifa's skin and body, the overall lighting contrasts here are just great! The warm light on her face, her arms and on her abs contrasts really well with the darker tones opposing them and on her thighs. I like the subtle colour shift too, with her face and upper body looking very warm, while her thighs have more of a cool tint to them. Her raised arm is well rendered with that warm light running alongside the darker shadows, while I really like the other arm and hand too. The way the light shines just on her fore-arm is a great detail as the rest of the arm would be in shadow, with that bright light really popping against the shadow. I like her hand a lot with the lighting there on her thumb and finger defining the plane changes and corners there and once again being distinct against the shadows. Her whole midsection is just... beautiful! 😻😻😻😻😻 I love the warm light bathing her from one side, while smooth, dark shadows wrap around the light and weave through it to define her soft, toned abs. The contrast between light and dark here is gorgeous, the textures are smooth, soft and appealing yet you still have some subtle hard edges to show the firm muscle definition here. I also really like the little shine spots too, showing how the sunlight hits her here the strongest. And her thighs are gorgeously smooth with their own lovely colour contrast. The subtle light in the centres of the thighs has this pale, blue hue to it, contrasting with the darker, warmer tones on either side and nicely defining the shapes of the thighs, while the blending of tones is so smooth and gorgeous. (And the cast shadows from the skirt do a terrific job adding some extra definition to the thighs) Lastly, Tifa's face is just marvellous! 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻 Again, I love the lighting here, with warm light that is distinct against the shadows on the skin as well as Tifa's darker hair. The light blends smoothly and softly into the darker tones and the definition of her features is so well done. I also notice that under her right eye, there's that pale, blue tint in the shadows that just adds to how vibrant her face is. I love the pink tint in her nose and the shine there, as well as the shine and texture on her lips. Her eyes are beautiful and captivating, especially with the shine and glow within the irises. And something I didn't say before, the hair frames her face so well and I just adore the strands that do break away and fall over her face, especially the little strand curling in over her cheek. Absolutely wonderful work here, Didi! This painting was definitely quite a surprise but a very welcome one!
