I was very, very interested in seeing how this painting was going to turn out. The WIP was so very cool and sure enough, this finished painting is just awesome! 😻😻😻 The colours look terrific, with She-Venom's face, hair and big, swoopy tongue all looking very distinct surrounded by the blue-black of the Venom suit, as well as the cool-toned background. And I love the overall blue tint to the symbiote suit, making it look so cool and vibrant. There's a really terrific sense of texture to this piece that I just love. That tongue is so striking with how it sweeps and curves out, twisting, curling and folding on itself. The bright-white edge-lighting really helps to accentuate it's movements too, showing where it overlaps as it folds. The tongues painterly textures and visible brush strokes look great and I really like the shine to it as well. The splodges of symbiote goop that are flowing all around the image look fantastic as well. All of them have a gorgeous texture and a great shine to them, with the shine spots really contrasting with the blue-black colour and making them pop. I especially like the parts where the goop is either breaking off of the suit like on her head, or where it's clinging to the suit and spreading around her, particularly on her foot and both of her calves. The way the goop wraps around her body is really nicely done and accentuates the shapes that are already there. The shiny Venom teeth and big white Venom eye are very nice too and I like how the eye smears back into the blue-black surrounding it. And as for all of the rendering itself, well it just looks fantastic! I really like the droopy feel where the Venom head opens up to reveal her face. Like the "material" has a real sense of weight as it falls down over her chest and wraps around her shoulders with a fold running through it, making it ripple. I love her left arm too, particularly the shoulder and upper arm where you've given her some lovely muscle definition (which I find very sexy 😉) Across her body, the rendering of many places looks so gorgeous, with a shine spot or very bright blue light on the top plane, smoothly spreading out into darker tones, with the darkest tones wrapping around them to really accentuate the shapes and separate them from other parts. Examples of what I mean are like her left shoulder and bicep and how they connect, as well as where her left thigh connects back up to her hip/waist. All of her body is beautifully rendered, smooth, shining and sensual. Her hips and thighs look gorgeous and I love her midsection too, as well as how her hips frame her stomach and special place. And the white Venom symbol on her chest is especially nice with how it wraps over her breasts, further accentuating their lovely shapes and making them pop with the white contrasting with the darker colours. As for the She-Venom face and hair. Well the hair looks lovely as it sweeps and flows around, all with a great deal of detail and texture to it. A subtle hint I like is how some of the hair glows slightly pink where it's nearest to the tongue (I also noticed that her right thumb glows red too where the tongue meets it 😸). I love the colours and lighting for her face as well. The darker shadows across her fore-head and right cheek really contrast with the brighter, pale skin tones for her left cheek+jaw and neck, making her face look extra striking. The contrast in tones accentuates all the shapes so well too and you did a beautiful job blending these tones together, giving her face a smooth texture and great sense of volume (I also find the single strand of hair falling down her face very sexy) The red tint to her nose with the little shine spot is very cute too and her grey-blue eyes have a nice subtle glow and also stand out very well against the warm skin tones. The soft pinkish hue to her cheeks also stand out very well against the pale skin tones, giving them an extra warmth. And I like the warm tint to the shadow that runs under her jaw, separating her face from her neck. And I'll quickly address the Carnage version and say you did a lovely job here too! It has a completely different feel to the Venom one, especially with the thick goop now looking quite a bit like thick blood which is very cool. The change to her chest/breasts looks awesome as well with that yellow glow seeping out from within the red, looking almost see-through. The muscle-sinew textures wrapping across the breasts accentuates their shapes very nicely and I really like their lighting too, with the darker tones wrapping around the breasts and contrasting well with the brighter sections. Lovely work on this piece, Didi! Adorable work Didi! Your Gwen-Venom looks amazing! She turned out excellent with all these tiny details.
