Oh I have been so excited to see this painting, Didi! The WIP had such a sexy pose and expression for Chel and in this final piece, she looks absolutely amazing and I just love the overall colours and background too! Starting off, I really like the background colours and framing, with the warm-toned pillars on both sides, framing the cool tones of the sky. The sky has a really nice gradient of tones too and I like the faded clouds and peek at the woods below. Chel's vibrant and warm colours also really stand out against the pale blue sky and the cool, grey floor under her. And like I said in the WIP, the colours of her clothes also contrast really nicely with her skin tones, making her look overall so very vibrant! And looking directly at Chel, I just love her hair! There's a beautiful gradient of tones throughout, as darker colours smoothly transition towards brighter tones at the bottoms of her fringe and the tips of her hair. The blue lighting mixed into the hair is a gorgeous contrast too and really makes the details pop, I also really love the textures of her fringe and how the lowest strands of hair fade into the background. Her clothes and accessories look lovely too, I really like the definition and shining texture of her golden ear-ring and how well the corners and plane changes are defined. Her wrist bands have this cool, translucent glow to them and a lovely smooth texture and I really like that soft lightning that wraps around the wrists. Her clothes look lovely too with their thick folds and how the materials all interlock and crinkle, especially noticeable on her sash. The rippling folds of the "belt" section look so nice and I just love the deep shadows there. The sash that falls between her thighs has a lovely texture too and I just love how it looks as the material twists as it falls. The colour contrasts are very nice too with the blue tinting on her hip sash and on the material that falls behind her, looking quite distinct from the warmer off-white colour in front. (And I do just adore the painterly texture of the front-most material!) Chel's own skin tones look absolutely beautiful too, her face and whole body just look so warm and appealing, with the blue tinting across her face and body being a perfect contrast! The definition of her body looks so nice too, the overall definition and textures are just so smooth and soft. Both her arms and legs look perfectly smooth, with subtle brighter tones running through their centre planes with a lovely transition towards the darker tones on the sides, giving them their volume. In regards to her arms specifically, I really like the blue edge-lighting on her shoulder and down the other fore-arm, adding depth and contrast, I also like the subtle warm tinting added to her elbows too to make her even more vibrant. Both of the hands are really nicely tone with the plane changes of the fingers looking great! I like the warm edge-lighting on the bending fingers of her upper hand, as well as the shadows on her lower fingers, all of which are really well defined. Her thighs are absolutely fantastic, again with those large areas of subtle light that smoothly transition towards darker tones, with gorgeous blue edge-lighting for contrast and even more definition. They look so voluptuous and appealing and I really like her calves and feet too with their foreshortening and the occlusion shadows where features overlap and where there are creases in the skin. Her midsection is utterly beautiful too! I always so love how you paint stomachs and Chel's looks amazing as she arches her back and stretches out her belly. The overall tones are lovely with subtle brighter lighting on her ribs, with contrasting shadows beneath across her stomach but still with lovely subtle changes in tone that define everything really well. I love the plane changes from ribs to stomach and stomach out towards her hips, with that central crease to define her abs. And from what we see here, the breasts look lovely too and I really like the subtle warm tinting on the undersides of them, looking forward to seeing them in full in the NSFW versions 😉 And I do really appreciate all of the small details, where little shadows are cast where clothes overlap the skin or where body parts lay on top of each other, such as the sash on her hips and running down her thigh, as well as her hand resting on her waist/pelvis. Lastly, for now, her face is just so gorgeous! 😻😻😻😻😻 The skin tones and definition of her features are so smooth and the colours look really vibrant. I really like the mix of blue edge-lighting on her cheek, red lighting along her jaw and then white lighting on her nose bridge and eye-lids, all contrasting well with each other and with her warm skin tones. The little shine spots on her eyes, nose and lips are all wonderful and I just love the reddish tint to her nose and the textures of her luscious lips, with her eyes looking very sexy and seductive! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Absolutely fantastic work, Didi! I love not only Chel's looks, but also her character in The Road to El Dorado. She is a cunning and smart girl, she knows how to achieve benefits for herself. I loved this version of Chel that you made!
