Oh Didi! Your Arwen is so insanely beautiful! 💚💚💚💚💚 I absolutely love the background, the soft, faded colours look really nice, especially with the silhouetted plants and trees and I like that you still have definition and detail in the tree branches, showing off plane changes and ridges. The overall feel of this painting is very pleasant and peaceful with the soft background 😸 Arwen's own colours and lighting are so beautiful too! I love her hair with the bright edge-lighting running all over the brown, the colour contrast is gorgeous and it really helps make all those details pop. Having her hair be more faded towards the bottom with green-tinting to it is lovely too and the mix of white, golden and green edge-lighting all over her hair makes it look so very vibrant too 💚💛 And of course the detail and texture throughout all of the hair is so gorgeous! I utterly adore her robe too and how the lighting affects it. Her lower arm is just amazing with that bright lighting running along the top planes as these rippling folds fall down, with the brightest parts of the arm really popping against the darker green over her body. There's this really lovely painterly texture to the material across all of her too, this perfect mixture of smooth blending and painterly brush strokes that I just adore. The green is also very vibrant too, with the brighter, warmer lighting on her arm, as well as some subtle blue tones mixed in to the material over her left arm and left hip/thigh. This is definitely among one of my favourite outfits that you've painted! 💚💚💚💚💚 And then there's Arwen's skin tones, which benefit so well from some starkly contrasting lighting. The brightest tones on her neck/right shoulder and right breast really pop against the shadows all across her face, chest and thigh. I really like the lighting on her shoulder where the brightest tones blend smoothly down towards the more neutral skin tones on the upper arm. Her exposed thigh looks wonderfully vibrant too, with warm orange-red tones highlighting it from below, with a subtle blue hue mixed into the top plane, all blended into a smooth, sensual skin texture. Both of her hands look really nice too with their own additional colours mixed in and I also enjoy how you paint bending fingers, with the top halves cast in shadow, accentuating that bend and plane change. And then there's Arwen's face... my goodness gracious... You've made her look so stunningly beautiful 😻😻😻😻😻 Even though her face is covered in shadow, you've still made her look vibrant and warm with a spot of warm lighting along her jaw that smoothly blends into the shadows, as well as reddish hues mixed into her cheeks. You also have cool blue tones at her fore-head, nose bridge and upper cheeks that contrast with the warmer tones and once again make the face look beautifully vibrant. The pale blue-greys of her eyes are so lovely too, as are the warm tones of her lips which a lovely little shine on the lower lip too. I am so glad that you have painted Arwen and she turned out just as stunningly beautiful as I would have hoped! The lighting, colours and details are all terrific (I so appreciate where her clothes cast shadows onto her skin) and she looks so perfect against the soft background. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 All of the biggest, warmest green elven hugs in the whole world! The greens in her hair weren't planned, ops, that came out in photoshop color adjustment. I found out after posting.
