Ah, I really enjoyed watching you paint Nina and of course I loved seeing all of that beautiful purple, so I'm definitely pleased to see the finished painting 😻💜 Starting off, I like the overall colours with quite a cool, pale background separated out by darker silhouettes, with Nina herself looking very distinct against it. Her warm skin tones and the vibrant purple contrast very nicely with each other and the background. And then the various ways that some colours are tinted adds to the vibrancy, such as some greenish tinting to Nina's ponytail, and both a warm pink-red glow and a cool blue tint to both of her arms. The pale white lighting along her breast and left thigh also go nicely with the dark purple. As for the rendering, Nina's hair has a great amount of detail as always with tonnes of well defined strands and I always enjoy those strands that split away, adding more detail and motion. Nina's face is adorable and very striking with the clear divide in light and shadow, accentuating the overall shape of her face. I also like the mix of reddish tones into some of the shadows to add to her warmth and vibrancy, with her pale blue-grey eyes being very distinct. The textures of her clothes all look great with my favourites being her colour and purple sleeves. All of these areas have this painterly, rough textured look to them which I really enjoy and as I said before, the blue and red lighting mixed in makes them look especially great. The folds and creases where the black straps grip her arms are also very nicely done with the deep shadows and bright lighting making them pop. I love the smooth black of her gloves too, with each hand looking quite distinct with blue-green lighting on her left hand and more warm tones on the lowered right hand. Both hands are rendered very well and I particularly like the bending fingers with a clear contrast in light and dark emphasising those plane changes. The overall smooth purple for her top and pants with a mix of colour tones and patterns, especially the pants with the pinkish trim dividing them up into different coloured sections, all look great as well and I particularly like the black harness that cuts through the purple as well, acting as a nice contrast. Other clothing details I like are the shiny purple trims that frame her bellybutton, the shining silver trim around the section over her "special place" as well as the folds in that material. I also like the subtle shiny blue lighting on the purple "belt" section on her hips. And of course the sections of skin that we do see look gorgeous too. I really like her raised shoulder with that bright, warm lighting shining onto it, softly blended into shadows that wrap over the overall shoulder shape and define it, as well as separating it from the arm. Her waist/stomach also look lovely with an overall contrast between bright pale light on one side and soft but still warm shadows on the other. Really lovely work on this piece, Didi! Lovely work with the purple-camo Nova i mean Nina (potato, potahto) :D I haven't had an opportunity to look whats inside, but i know it will amazing. Hopefully there will be a hidden layer with Nova goggles :P Can't wait to see it, all the variants.
