The WIP for Skarlet looked so good that I couldn't help but be excited for the final painting, suffice to say, she's looking amazing! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ The colours look terrific, I love Skarlet's pale skin tones as well as the various deep, rich reds for her hair and clothes. And the blur on the background means that Skarlet still really pops despite the similar warm tones for both the background and the character, so great work! As for all of the rendering, I really like the hair, there's a gorgeous amount of detail to it all, it has a lovely shine running through it and the pale edge-lighting around it is a lovely contrast to the red, as is the hint of her silver ear-ring poking from between strands of hair. As always, the little strands splitting off look great and give the hair this soft feeling around the edges. All of the clothes are looking fantastic, I particularly like the deep, textured folds in the mask and collar, there's this rough look to the crinkling folds that I just love. The folds in the bra are similar but the overall shinier texture of that material gives it a different look which I really like as well. While the sash falling between her legs just looks so good with those large, rippling folds, I adore the way the material overlaps itself as well as how the cloth flows with the contrast between light and shadow just looking beautiful. The other parts of the clothes look great too, like the shining leathery texture for the straps on her forearms, as well as the black trim on the inside of the bra and the metallic trims running underneath it. I also really like the two different surfaces for the shoulder-pads and the metallic shine of the steel, as well as the deep shadow that separates the steel from the grey materials above it. And all of Skarlet's body is just amazing! I utterly adore when you paint muscular characters and the muscle definition for Skarlet here is so good! My favourite area of muscle has to be her left shoulder/arm and the way the muscles interlock with thin lines of light separating them, such as separating the bicep from the back of the arm. Those thin lines of light are also a very nice contrast to the shadows that define the muscles. Both hands look great too, I just love how you paint bending fingers with clear contrast in light and shadows that really emphasises the plane changes. Skarlet's mid-section is just so good too! The softness of the skin tones and blending of light and shadow is so nice, while the hard edges that you use to define the muscles is terrific, sexy and a great contrast to the softer blending of tones. I especially love those hard edges above the sash on both sides of the belly, separating it from the hips on both sides. Something else I love is the shadow on her right waist/hip that runs down the length of that thigh, alongside a thin edge light, that together really accentuate her hips and thighs while contrasting with the lighter tones on the front of the stomach and inside of the thigh. Speaking of the thighs, they're wonderfully painted too with soft, smooth skin tones and I really like the definition of the muscle on the inside of her right thigh. I also like the shadow on her left hip that runs above the left thigh, separating the two planes. And last but definitely not least... the face! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Oh I just love the face and the skin tones/textures here. The reddish tones mixed into the nose and cheeks look gorgeous, as do the little shine spots running along the corner of the nose, on the tip of it and along her left eyebrow and under the eye. It's hard to describe but the overall textures of the face and defining of it's features look especially marvellous in this painting, this might be among my favourite faces that you've painted! 😻😻😻 The red nose looks so cute and pops amazingly, the skin is so textures and my word, those lips are utterly divine! I love the crease in the centre of the bottom lip, as well as the overall definition of both lips and the contrast in the dark upper lip and lighter lower lip with a luscious shine to it. The eyes are utterly captivating too with a striking shine and glow to the irises and overall great detail on the eye itself and the area around it. Utterly wonderful work, Didi! Much wow, such a lovely treat for the eyes and ..... stuff 😋 She turned out better than expected🥰 Love all the lovely bits you've added here and there. She contrasts nicely with that background. Love these variants you've uploaded her, she looks amazing both with and without that mask on. Really nice work here Didi! She has some great looking muscles, particularly her abs. I'm not familiar with this character myself but I assume the blood is common with her, stills it's a great touch. Many yeti hugs Didi, thanks for sharing. 😊😊💖💖🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
