I've been very excited to see this one, SoulCalibur is one of my favourite fighting game series and Taki is an iconic character. Suffice to say, you've done a wonderful job with your version of her, Didi! 😻😻😻😻😻😻 I do like the background a lot, it's similar to one of the stages from the games with a vast desert surrounding it. The colours are nice and harmonious too with the soft sandy tones and a warm blue along the top, giving a gentler contrast in colours. Taki herself is looking amazing! Her hair just has so much detail to it and as ever, I do love all of the small strands that break away, adding even more detail and dynamism to the pose. The way the ends of the strands blend into the sky colours is a nice touch and I really like the beginning of the ponytail where we see the hair beginning to twist and overlap, so very well painted! There's a lot of great detail to Taki's outfit too, such as the overlapping brace on her left arm, and the painted demon head shoulder pad with all of it's plane changes. The blue and gold there are great contrast too and once again, I like how parts of them blend into the background colours. I especially like the bandages on her right arm, the texture has this rough painterly look that is great and I like how the bandages are separated, with thin shadows between them and thin light running along the top of each segment. Likewise, the hand bandages look great with a subtle shine to them and the decorations on the hand like the beads and patterns are all well rendered and textured. The greave on her raised leg is very well done with it's demonic designs, the contrasting grey and gold with all of their textures, as well as the shining black leather straps at the top and bottom that connect the greave to the leg. I always love how you paint this kind of material with this mix of smoothness and roughness to it 😊 And all of the folds, overlapping shadows and details across the calf and foot are very well done! The red suit itself looks terrific too with strong, contrasting lighting across Taki's body. The subtle light spot on each breast, as well as the dark shadows wrapping under each one are a great contrast to each other, while also blending so smoothly back into the red material and defining the shapes of her breasts beautifully. Her butt too looks glorious with it's contrast light and dark tones that define the overall shapes and I especially like her raised thigh. The lighter tones on top, shadows underneath and especially dark core shadow running between them really define the plane changes of her thigh and all look very striking. I also like where that core shadow cuts up towards her butt, separating it from the thigh. There's plenty of other great details too, like the glove of her left hand and the little straps digging into it, the brown leather material and metallic designs that frame her breasts, and the grey material across the shoulder with how the shadows define and separate the shoulder from the arm. And of course we have Taki's face which is especially striking with warm light across the central planes of her forehead, upper lip and chin, blending out into these smooth shadows that define her eye-sockets and cheeks so very well. The nose is also very cute and I do love her pale, shining eyes. Absolutely wonderful work on Taki, Didi! Woooooooooooooooooooooooo 🙀 Wow, she's gorgeous, i'm sure all the stuff inside her pack will be as lovely as she is 😍 Eh these crimson ninjas.... they're damn sexy, and to know there will be other one comming too.... i'm super happy about that. Excellent work with Taki's pose, i gotta say that her butt is the center of the illustration 😂 It's so nice, and round and sexy the eyes just instantly go to that spot of the artwork 😈😋 Hope everything is ok, all the best Didi and have an most excellent November. Also when you mention all the details you mention in her hair, armor and bandages. I am always amazed at all the great detail you see in this Taki art.
