It was absolutely wonderful to watch you painting Psylocke during your stream and by the end, I was so very excited to see the finished piece, suffice to say, this end result is simply marvellous! I adore the colours here, the majority of colours are quite cool, with the dark blue and pale grey-green of the background, as well as the blue clothes, so Psylocke's warm skin tones, vibrant pink-purple hair and pink energy all pop so vividly 😻😻😻 The pose is very cool and dynamic too with the asymmetry in her arms and legs, as well as a long curving line of action through her body as she leans back, that runs through her extended leg. The flowing, curling and twisting strands of hair, as well as her red sash also add to that sense of motion in this piece. The lighting and rendering are marvellous here and I just love the hair so much! The shades of purple that you've used looks beautiful and how it glows a pinkish hue alongside her energy sword is a great detail, I also love the white edge-lights on the other side, really contrasting against the dark purple and accentuating those shapes. The long strands of hair as they flow are also so well detailed and I really like how the tips of hair blend down into the background. Psylocke's face is gorgeous too! Those pale blue eyes are wonderful and I love her subtly shining lips, a detail I really like is how some of the shine on her lips and the shadow on her nose is actually tinted purple. Likewise, the purple glow along her right-hands glove, as well as along her breast accentuate those areas very nicely and a fun contrast in colour. Speaking of her clothes, they look great with the lighting across her breasts being particularly striking with the light tones along the top planes, with a very dark core-shadow cutting through the centre and creating a nice divide between the lighter tones up top and semi-dark tones below, all of which defines the shapes of the breasts very well. I really like the alternating light and dark tones along her ribs, upper abs and throughout her stomach, defining those sinking and rising planes, as well as defining her abs very well. The straps on her left arm and left leg look great with the shining blue material and how the tones are blended, as well as how they actually dig into the skin, while I just love her left hands glove with the core shine and shadow running down the arm, as well as the brighter edge-light, all contrasting well and accentuating the shape of the arm. The red sash looks very nice too with it's deep folds in the material, it's subtle shine as well as the definition of the long, flowing and twisting fabric. I also appreciate how the belt casts a shadow down onto Psylocke's blue clothes and skin, likewise, the piece of blue clothing casting a shadow down onto her stomach and pelvis makes it pop very nicely too. There is something I do have to point out though, the straps on Psylocke's raised, right thigh lack the shine to the material as well as the details where they dig into the skin. Aside from that, that leg does look very well done with a lovely overall contrast between bright light and shadow and I like the core shadow running through her blue thigh-high with light on both sides. The visible anatomy that we see here looks great and very well detailed, I especially like the area around her left hip where the thigh connects, the two shapes interlock very well and the definition of the thigh looks wonderful with a clear divide in light and shadow, with a lovely edge-light in the shadow accentuating the shape further. I also love her upper left chest where it connects to the shoulder with a mix of soft blending with a hard edge separating the chest and shoulder, with the form of the shoulder rendered very well, the blue outfit casting shadows onto her chest also looks great. Oh and the sword looks very cool too, I particularly like the golden part with the shine in the material and how the planes are defined, same with the plane change from the back and sides of the blade itself. Really wonderful work, Didi! Psylocke is looking fantastic and I just love all of the colours in this piece 💜💜💜💜💜 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 August has been such a wonderfully purple month!
