Ooooooh I have been so very excited to see this painting! Valentine is such a cool character and you really did her justice with this painting, she looks so dynamic, sexy and lethal all at once 👏👏👏👏👏 Starting off, I really like the feel of the background, the soft colours don't distract from Valentine herself and there's a nice mix of tones in there. The tiling really fits her nurse theme and the blood splattters are a great addition, making the scene extra dangerous! 🙀 The lighting on Valentine herself is gorgeous too, there's some very strong contrasts in light and dark tones, particularly on her breasts, arms and thighs, that are quite striking and eye-catching.While the rendering is fantastic too, I am especially enamoured with the hair, you packed in a tonne of detail with so many defined strands, I also love the small little strands of hair that split off too. The two little strands each running over her eyes on both sides is something I really like! All of the clothes are so very well done too, the hat has a striking contrast in light and dark and I really like the thin cast shadows that separate the main part from the sides, as well as the edge-lights within the soft shadows. While her shirt and gloves have a wonderful texture to them, it's hard to describe but there's a satisfying shine mixed with a painterly feel that makes the material look thick and adds weight to the folds. The folds around her stomach and over her raised thigh especially look great as the thick material crumples and crinkles in on itself. And then the bright lights on the folds on her shoulder and along her stomach and thigh contrast so well with the darker tones, selling that shiny texture, accentuating the folds and catching the eye. You also did a great job on the hands and defining the planes of the bending fingers as they grip the syringe and scalpels, both hands also have strong contrasts in light and dark that are fun to see.And like all the rest of the clothes, the interlocking bandages on her calf are very well textured and rendered and across her clothes, I like the warm tone to the lights. Also the red crosses, especially on her leg, are great with the clear definition of the plane changes, I particularly like the thin lights running along the corners, dividing the top plane from the sides underneath it. And when it comes to Valentine's skin, the rendering is just gorgeous! I already mentioned the striking lighting contrasts, not only that, but the warmth of the lights on her skin makes her look so radiant and appealing, while popping further with the shadows and her blue hair.I love how the light shines down onto her fore-head, cheek and nose and how it blends into the shadows, defining her overall facial structure so well! The details of her eye-lid, the crease in the skin and the red iris are all gorgeous too.I really like the arms as well, especially the extended one with how the light along her bicep meets the shadow along her fore-arm that then blends back into a light tone. While her thighs just look gorgeous too with those bright lights and softly rendered shadows. The cast shadows on the tops of the thighs as well as between them also do a great job separating the thighs and further defining the shapes.
