Oooooh, this is very exciting! I'm super happy to see you painting Valentine, she's my favourite character in Skullgirls, a ninja-nurse is such a cool and creative idea 😸 As for the pose you put her in, you've made her look so very, very dynamic! The strong twist to her body as she reaches her arm down to her hips, with an opposing twist as her right thigh rises up as well as the asymmetry of one lowered, straight arm with a raised and bending one all give a great sense of movement. I like to think she's brought up the needle to distract us while she reaches down to grab her little scalpels, hoping no one notices, like a real, sneaky ninja 😹 The colours are also really popping so very nicely, the red crosses in her design pop so well against the white, likewise the orange in the needle contrasts well against her blue hair, with the skin tones of her face and her red eye also popping between the blue. The level of detail here is amazing too, I am especially enamoured with the folds in her coat, the way they flow and curl across her body from her left waist down to her right hip further accentuates the twist in her body and shows how the clothes react to it. I love her hands too, the positions of her fingers are really well done, like the scalpels in between her bending fingers, as well as the way her fingers and thumb delicately hold the needle. The open shirt also wraps around her breasts in a way to accentuate their shapes beautifully and naturally, the warm skin tones framed between the white is very eye-catching! 😉🥰 Absolutely wonderful work so far, Didi! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I can not wait to watch you paint Valentine! I'm so excited that I might play some Skullgirls... though I'm not very good at it 😅... also I got a new Warhammer model I need to paint first (there's lots of purple involved 💜) All the biggest, warmest and most loving hugs in the world!
