Great work, one of few recently made Jills i like :3 (still there is too damn much of them :S) very cool work with her curves, she has a very cute face and lovely eyes... :3 Cool tactical Gear sadly... I have been so very, very excited to see this one, Didi! I love Jill Valentine and and played as her so much in Resident Evil 1 and am eagerly awaiting the new RE3 and your new painting of her is simply gorgeous! 💙💙💙💙💙 As always, I adore night-time scenes and the blurred blues of the background look so lovely, I especially like how there's this pale blue glow surrounding Jill too, separating her from the background and almost giving her a blue halo around her head and body. And boy-oh-boy... this hairstyle! I so love these medium-length hairstyles and the way it curls back around her head on one side while sweeping forward and around on the other, with strands also breaking away adds such a lovely sense of motion to this already asymmetrical hairstyle. The actual rendering of the hair is simply perfect! The level of detail is great, as is the shine in the hair around the top of her head, while the pale-white rim-lighting around the edges also pops so well against the warmer, darker tones of the hair. The small, orange-tinted tips of her hair also pop very nicely against the darker tones above. The general warmth of her brunette hair frames her pale-skinned face so nicely and is a lovely contrast to the surrounding blue night sky. Speaking of contrasts, her beautiful blue-eyes are another lovely focal point and I adore the pale, bright blue that you used, there's something extra captivating about it for me 💙💙💙 (I have a particular fondness for pale-skinned brunettes with blue eyes, so your Jill is extra, extra appealing to me! 😻😻😻😻😻) The face is absolutely love too, the shadow cast onto her forehead by her hair adds extra definition to her features and it's great how that harder shadow blends into the softer shadows on the side of her face. The clear divide between light and shadow on her face is also very striking and I also love the shadows around her right eye which stand out especially against the lighter colours around it. And her nose and lips are just adorable, particularly with the darker core shadows and brighter rim-lights on each of them, defining them even more and making them pop! The rendering of her neck, shoulders and breasts are also terrific again with strongly contrasting light and dark tones with rim-lighting adding extra definition. I especially like her raised arm with her brightly lit fingers, darkened hand with the shadow running down her arm, contrasting again with the bright light on the arm too. And the soft, smooth blending of light and dark skin tones is always a joy to see in your work, the other arm too looks terrific with it's more subtle, delicate contrast in colours. The cleavage too is also made to look so appealing with the pale moonlight shining down on them, with softer but still warm shadows adding definition and contrast. The clothing as well is all fantastic! I especially like her blue vest, once again the blending of light and dark tones is beautifully smooth and the folds that run diagonally across her midriff look gorgeous! The light tones that run along the tops of the folds also pop so nicely against the general shadows across her stomach and each fold has a different amount of light depending on where it is which is a great detail. I also really love the shining texture on her various straps, especially the ones on her left arm, pouches and thigh-holster and it's straps. The brightest grey shine on the thigh strap especially pops very nicely. And lastly, her trousers are an excellent contrast to her blue vest. The texture and blending on the vest is a lot softer and smoother, while the trousers are more painterly, with stronger lights defining the folds as well as hard edges, giving the material a different texture and thickness. The lights for the folds that run across her pelvis and then blend into the strong shadows there look terrific with a great contrast in tone, I also love that deep crease above the top strap on her right thigh. Oh and of course the gun looks great too! You packed in so much detail there with it's plane changes, metallic shine and various grooves and indents into the metal. Absolutely stunning work, Didi! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Honestly this is the painting I was looking forward to seeing the most and I am so happy to see your Jill at last! The colours are so beautiful and Jill's pale, moonlit skin and warm brown hair are such a vibrant contrast to the generally cool atmosphere of this painting. And Jill's face is just so adorable with perfectly enchanting blue eyes 💙💙 And I'm very excited to hear that you're livestreaming Elsa! Can't wait to see that, especially since I finally got around to watching Frozen 2 this week.
