My favorite part of this one is the face. It's a really good representation of Lady Death, one of the best I've seen actually. You did a great job with her Didi. Ooooh, I have been so excited to see this! 😻😻😻😻😻 (I feel like I say this every time, but it's always true! 😹) And as with the last few paintings, it was an absolute pleasure to watch you work! And now looking at the final piece, I am in love with the colours, I've always been a huge fan of black and white colours schemes, as well as white hair and pale skin. This Lady Death painting has all of those things! While the red on the inline of the cape, as well as the warmer tones on the skulls on her clothes add some nice contrast to the cool greys, whites and blacks. What's also impressive is that you have a character with white hair, white eyes and bright grey skin and you managed to make all 3 of those very similar tones look distinct. The hair is much brighter than the skin as well as being a very different texture, while the black make-up around her white eyes makes them distinct from white hair and grey tones of her skin. And then the black gloves, bra, panties, outer cape and thigh-highs all contrast so strongly with the white, as does the red inside of the cape. And looking at the lighting, there are some gorgeous highlights here that add even more contrasts, such as the bright lighting on her forehead, nose and chin that make them pop from the surrounding shadows. The bright lighting on her breasts and the area beneath them, as well as her shining left thigh all frame the darker tones of her stomach so nicely too. I also love the bright tones that run along both of her forearms and I like how her raised arm is receiving a bright white light that runs along the glove, while her lower arm receives a more red-tinted light, as if tinted by the cape. The brightest rim-lights are gorgeous too, such as along her raised arm, as well as running down her cape, further accentuating the folds there. And then there's the rendering, the cape itself looks fantastic, the painterly texture to the rippling red folds are quite striking, while I love the pale blue tint to the black material that curls inwards towards her waist, further contrasting with the red. Her hair is so intricately detailed and it's very impressive, while I adore the shining textures of her clothes. The bra looks fantastic with the dark core shadow running horizontally through the centre with bright lights and bounce lights above and below. Similarly, the glove on her raised arm is fantastic and so very striking too. An exquisite attention to detail is how the bra and panties also slightly push into her skin, creating those little contact shadows. And speaking of the skin, it looks amazing, I love the subtle shine to her skin, particularly on her left thigh, while the painterly look to her stomach is gorgeous too, I especially enjoy the really hard edge that separates the top of her stomach from the bright tones just below her breasts. While her breasts and chest look so delicate and smoothly rendered with a beautiful and appealing softness to them, contrasting again with the harder textures and brush strokes of the bra and her darker stomach. Sensational work on this one, Didi!
