Oh wow! Your WIP for Mera was fantastic and I knew that the final painting was going to be wonderful but I didn't know that it was going to be this beautiful! 😻😻😻😻😻 I already went over the pose and colours in my comment on the WIP but I'll very quickly summarise it again. I love the dynamism in her pose with her head turned against the direction of her body, her arms posed asymmetrically while a subtle curve runs through her body as she leans forward with her voluptuous hips pushed out to one side. Her hair is amazing too with how it spreads out all around her, flowing beautifully with the strands to her right curling around behind her and I really like how the hair on her left flows out in this big S curve, ending by coming back to her body and falling over her shoulder. The colours are gorgeous too with the overall cool tones of the blue sky and water and her green suit, with her red hair, golden crown and smooth, warm skin tones contrasting beautifully against it all. The small pieces of gold on her arm and stomach also add a nice touch of contrast to the green and I also really like how you made some of the scales on her suit blue, it's a subtle, small detail but it adds variety to the green and is fun to look at 💚💙. Okay and now to look at the rendering and trust me on this, Didi, you did an amazing job! I am absolutely in love with Mera's face😻😻😻😻😻, the skin tones are just so smooth and beautifully blended but still with a few visible brush strokes on the edges of her upper nose as well as near her nostrils and I just love that, the painting keeps a painterly feel to it that I really enjoy seeing. The colours of her skin look terrific too, I especially like how the length of the left side of her face is tinted red from the hair nearby, while her pale green eyes stand out very nicely against these warm tones. There's something seductive and sexy about the shapes of her eyes, they're very slender with big eye-lashes and her lips look terrific too with the darker upper lip, while the lower one is brighter with that spot of shine on it. Zooming out to look at more of the painting, the hair is just magnificent! There's so much detail here and it all looks amazing as it meanders and flows around her. I love how the tips of her hair are tinted a cool colour as they get further away from her, and I also really like how strands of hair break away, such as on her right side with many strands flowing off on their own from within the main mass of hair. The skin tones for her chest and hands also contrast and pop very well against the surrounding cool colours and I really like how her fingers are tinted blue from her water magic, it looks especially nice on her lower hand as the blue creeps up her fingers and the palm of her hand. As for the body-suit, there's so much variety in the colour tones across her whole body and you've done a brilliant job in showing the forms of her anatomy through the suit. Some lighting details that I love are the blue rim-lights running down her raised left arm on both sides as well as on her body on that same left side, the dark shadows near those blue rim-lights contrast well and the combined effect is very striking. I also like how her right arm is in shadow below her breast and next to her ribs, while the outline of her ribs has this thin green rim-light that makes it pop out against her arm, showing the separation between her body and arm (I hope I explained those two examples of lighting on her arm properly 😅). I also love how there's this thin green rim light on the inside of her left thigh, letting it pop against the dark shadows of her pelvis. The lighting that shows off her anatomy is so good too, I love the hints of her stomach through her suit as well as that hard edge that starts just below her breasts and runs down towards her bellybutton. While the bright light and dark shadow that run down her left waist, hip and thigh all accentuate those beautiful, voluptuous forms so well. You've done an amazing job on every aspect of this painting, Didi!
