Oh I was really looking forward to this piece, the little sneak view of her in the Patreon Thank You card looked so cute! And sure enough, the finished piece is absolutely adorable! 😍😍😍😍😍 Firstly, I love the pose that she's in as well as her expression, that big smile is just precious and she has a terrific sense of motion to her body. The strong arching curve through her torso, the rounded curving contours of her waist, hips and bum, her thighs rising up before sharply bending to her thighs, with her cape/wings and hair each billowing and flowing out all come together to make such a dynamic image! Looking at her hair specifically, I love how it blows out against the direction of her body, curling backwards at the tips, while the rippling in her cape looks great. Next up are the colours which look fantastic! You know by now that I am a big fan of night time scenes and this follows that trend, the dark blues and greys of the night sky and clouds, pale moonlight shining with the near silhouettes of the background and tree (the tree looks terrific in it's rendering, shapes and textures) all have such a wonderful sense of atmosphere, especially so with the glowing faces of the tree and pumpkins. While Batgirl herself is spectacular standout against all of these cool colours with her vibrant red hair and beautiful, warm skin tones. I really like how her red cape is tinted blue towards the top as if it's blending with the background, while the red lines running down from the yellow bat symbol add a further touch of warmth to her black attire. And of course, her big, blue eyes look absolutely gorgeous against all of the surrounding warm tones! 💙💙 (I just noticed how her gloved fingers are tinted red by her cape too, great details!) And as for the rendering, this piece is simply stunning as I've always come to expect from your work, Didi! The background has a wonderful sense of texture to it, my favourite part being the tree and how the plane changes for the bark and branches are done. Batgirl herself is sensational, a highlight for me has to be her brilliantly detailed and intricate hair, so many strands are defined and they all look fantastic as they curl, flow, twist and meander around her. The part where her fringe is tinted blue by the night sky and the blue rim-lighting while also twisting and curling into little bat ears is amazing! And I love the pale-white rim-lighting on the part of her hair that's furthest from her, as if it's glowing in the moonlight. Her face is simply beautiful, the skintone is a perfect blend of pale while still looking warm, her eyes are gorgeous and I adore her smile 😄😍, she looks so cute and sexy and fun! It's even better with how shiny and luscious her red lips look ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (the shadow that her face casts onto the hair behind her is a great touch too, letting her face really pop against her hair.). I've already somewhat touched on her clothes, admiring the way that you've tinted her cape and glove with their surrounding colours, while the rippling of the cape's material is so well done, I really like the folds where she's pinching the cape. The material for her top and pants has such a great, subtle shine to it and despite it all being black, you've done an excellent job of adding definition to it with your use of lighting, shadows and rim-lighting. For example, the rim-lighting along her raised thigh/knee as well as underneath her rounded bum and along her right breast, while the light shining down onto her breasts from the top with shadows wrapping under the lower planes really defines those sensual shapes. I also love the area underneath, the tops of her abs and the use of blacks/grey and a shine in the material to define them. And lastly, which I only just noticed (You've put in so much detail! 😂), her calves too are tinted blue which I think looks terrific! Absolutely sensational work on this painting, Didi! Dynamic, sexy, fun and vibrant with Batgirl's face being absolutely beautiful! She's so cute and fun and her lips are just so appealing 😻😻😻.
