Oh this is very nice, Didi, beautifully painted and it must be said immediately, I am very impressed with the textures across this piece, Chun's blue clothing (black dress too) as well as her tights are amazing 😄 Starting off, I like the background with the blue and brown tones throughout as well as the textures and how they all blend into each other, I also really like how the back sections of Chun's outfits (both blue and black) are blurred, adding to the sense of motion with this pose. I'll stick to talking about the blue outfit version here, you've stuffed so much into this painting, with so many variants 😄, that it'll be easier to split up the comments. I already talked about the pose and all the reasons why I like it in the WIP update, so I'll stick to just the rendering here. The cloth throughout is brilliantly painted, I already mentioned that I love the textures, my favourite part being the long section of material that flows out in front of Chun's thighs, the brush strokes there are gorgeous, especially so with how the material folds and curls in on itself. Similarly, the white ribbons that run off of her hair look terrific with a subtle shine to them, with especially darkened shadow tones that really define how the material moves. Other specific areas of Chun's outfit that i enjoy are at her left shoulder, how the light shines on top of it with shadows running along the lower planes, a single fold running through it all with a rim light along the top. The shadows define her breasts very well too with how they swing with the motion of her chest, with shadows and lights both defining and separating them, the cast shadow from her left breast onto her right doing a great job of this. I also really like the warm rim light that runs along the edge of her right breast. I especially like the way her white belt/sash imprints into her blue attire, the occlusion shadows show this effect so well, while the white sashes own folds are detailed marvellously with shadows and rim-lighting. Like I said, the long blue section that runs in from of her thighs looks amazing, the rendering is subtle yet defines everything perfectly, while the textures are just gorgeous. Her tights look fantastic as well, of course this also goes along with how marvellously her legs are rendered, since it is their forms that show through. The musculature of her thighs are beautifully painted and detailed, I especially like the way her muscles overlap as they run down her standing, right leg. Her raised left knee and calf look amazing too with that bright light shining down on her knee, and carrying on down the thigh, defining those muscles so well as they disappear beneath her long boot. I also especially like the shadow that her calf casts onto her thigh, as well as the rim lights running down each of her thighs, the bright lights really popping out against the brown tights. And her boot too is so well detailed with the lacing, the overlapping materials and the folds that spread out from her bending ankle, as well as the fol that details where her toes bend. I also like that you included a warm rim light that wraps around areas of her boot, provides a lovely contrast. And lest I get so caught up in her clothes that I forget, her face is super cute too, love her little pout and button nose, as well as the shadows that run down the far/right side of her face, while her eyes are gorgeous. And while we don't see much of her hands, what's there is very well done with how her fingers splay out and simpler shadows defining the forms of her thumbs. Fantastic work, Didi! Such a well detailed painting and with such incredible textures!
