Monthly Report: March 2023 (Patreon)

Fasting timezone, everyone; Andy here bringing you Monthly Report (that I hope you read). Update is ready for everyone, so it's time to get this done!

Did everyone have a good month? For me, it wasn't that great, but otherwise a fine month.

Anyway, let's get started, shall we?

• Updated game to 0.10.04p and 0.10.04i:

We get an Episode Lars 1 (revision) and 2 update for Patreon and Lars 1 (revision) and Gil Day 9 for Public--was considering on Episode Parker 1, but since the comment section told me that the public isn't too big on Parker or Episode updates in general, I decided to push PE1 update for later after Anders Day 9 update. 

Episode Lars 1 and 2 is somewhat experimental, so I hope you guys enjoy the pacing in this update, because futures update will have more or less the same pacing as LE2.

• Updated title screen:

This was part of housekeeping update, but we didn't have the resources until now. Starting this update, we'll have a dynamic title screen with parallax effect on mouse hover (also works on mobile by dragging the screen, won't work with gyro sensor.) 

• Dark/Light theme toggle:

It started as a joke at first but seeing that I'm the only person who uses Discord light theme, I added a less blinding theme for the title screen. It also works for Episodes title screen too. Just gotta click on the Sun/Moon on the right side of the screen.

• Ross character sprite has been added:

This is the result from March polling session. The majority picked Ross, so here he is! He's going to be one of the side characters to appear in the character screen, also.

• Ednalyn and Abbadon (placeholder) character sprites have been added:

They will also be added to the character poll next time, for now, enjoy them in placeholder form!

• New backgrounds have been added:

There are more variations there, but I only showed a few of them. Park and Alley also got an update from Vui, please look forward to it!

• New music and sound effects have been added:

These are used in Episode Lars 2 for now and they have been looped properly, I haven't added to the gallery screen though, apologies.

• Patron list updated:

I'm thankful for the new and existing patrons, but importing it is always painful, so I'm sorry if I forgot to include your name and that you want to have it changed. (I forgot about some people who reached out to me to have their name changed, so if you can reach me on my Discord, please do.)

It says 22-January-2023, but I promise it's been changed to 31-March-2023 on my end, I just forgot to change it for all builds, sorry!

What's next?

Well, the next update will be Lars day 10 and 11, a new character sprite, and hopefully a new CG from Mr. Bear. 

I also noticed that people want the old side images back. I don't have plans to allow old side images toggle for now, but it'll change in the future.
