Patreon at it again (Patreon)

Well, many are being declined....just like last month. check your payments went through. I will assume by tomorrow I will be to 70 patreons approved.  Because many are still pending. So check with your banks to make sure Patreon is not declined or flagged.  

For now all that are declined will be kicked from the discord. I am sure when you update the info you will be able to get back in.

A lot of this is inherent in the move of charging origin from the US to another country. Patreon does not control the fraud prediction policies of all the card issuers in the US and it's not really practical for them to beg every single issuer to recognize their new charging origin as being equivalent to the old US charging origin that we had before. It is highly likely that this is going to continue to happen for a lot of people for many months. Over time, some card issuers will start to recognize the charge as legit, others will keep insisting we approve them every month (like I just had to, again). Meanwhile patrons are going to have to consider changing cards (which is a crap shoot since everyone's policies are different) or changing their Patreon to PayPal (which supposedly works fine, so I might end up doing that).
