phew, got it out in time ^^

Another bonus strip, based on my lovely husband. He always said one of our toxic German traits is that we constantly quote...especially Goethe. He claims it's the German's out of jail card...as in ' Goether agrees so therefore I'm right' XD

I think it's kinda funny how salty he  is about that (and believe me, he really is). Not sure if this joke plays outside of me and my husband...but I still thought it's funny anyways ^^

Ok, so I had to Google search "Goethe" to get a better understanding of this comic. ...And I'm not sure I get it. heh😅

Cooking instructions would make more sense.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is widely regarded as the greatest and most influential writer in the German language. He was what is known as a "polymath"; i.e., an individual whose knowledge spans a substantial number of subjects, known to draw on complex bodies of knowledge to solve specific problems. In other words, someone who is not only a "jack of all trades", but a master of most of them. Often called a "Renaissance man". Benjamin Franklin, Leonardo da Vinci, Isaac Newton, Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, and Nicolaus Copernicus are good examples. More specific to the comic, the imported dumplings have a German flag on the box, so I'm guessing that whenever Walter hears Jackie speaking German, he automatically assumes he's quoting Goethe, probably because Jackie may have a habit of actually doing so.
