Hi, guys.

I'm sorry I'm so late with posting today's sketch. Today was for me a bit of a crappy day...But I can't tell you why because...I refuse to whine in public *hmpf*  Ò^Ó

Anyway, here another side character sketch. This time, Charlene again...with a bit of a friendlier face/motive :> She's not a bad person, she just...not as normal as she wishes to be XD

Sorry you had a crappy day & no worries about the late post. It just gave more time to build up the anticipation. :) I quite like Charlene & have really enjoyed the recent arcs with her. I can only imagine the hi-jinks that will ensue once her and Sedine start interacting more directly. Keep up the good work!

I love your sketching in this piece. I'm surprised Charlene would sit for the sketch, though, even if she gets a sunflower to guard her face with! And, I must ask: is the flamingo story arc based on something that happened in real life? I have a sneaky suspicion that it does.

Thank you :) No, the story is not based on a real event...although it could be. I really used to be into figure collecting, and my husband and I had a lot of verbal 'tug-o-wars' if and what I should purchase, and more important, where to display it XD But we never smashed anything, nor did we get into any seriouse debate/fight like Charlene and Roy :3 However, somehow I'm really happy that you think this could be a real event. I'm always worried the stories are too crazy and might turn unbelievable ^^

Thank you, I'm happy you enjoy her :). Reality is, she is the one character who nearly got scrapped, turning Roy into a widower and single father. However, I'm happy that that brief thought never turned into reality. I really enjoy her character too and I love the freckles and the face and just her expressions overall. I simply could not make myself axing her. And I don't regret keeping her one bit :)
