Off to Japan WIP (Patreon)

And finally the Japan trip.

This arc was fun...mostly because I hardly had to draw any backgrounds XD

we wanted to give this arc a mannish feeling. Therefore the characters got a weeb makeover and we flexed a bit on the tones and pre-made backgrounds and a fair amount of Manga reference/cameos.

A lot of the strips of this arc were based on our very own experience from a Japan trip back in 2011. like the one with the fish market lady. I was 19 at the time and wobbled around in a school uniform (because I'm a weeb, ok? XD)...Guess I looked a bit you back then :P

I'm a little sad that people really wanted Sam to stay in his bishonen mode...why you hate my big nosed boy so much? XD
