I'm seeing AGAIN! 2/2 (Patreon)

(Mr. H, here!) Well, today is the three-week mark since cataract operations began.  The second eye was done two weeks back, and they are both out of the "healing zone".  Thus I can begin work again and bend over the table, etc.

My eyesight is regained, I can see colors much better, obviously, and I have circa 20/30 vision, possibly better, not worse.  The only drawback is the nearsight has deteriorated and I need reading glasses for fine stuff, or I have to hold everything away from my by 18" in order to read.

THAT MEANS ART HASSLES!  I will have to re-coordinate myself to ink @ 18" instead of @ 4".  That's not a big problem.  One of my teachers was Tex Blaisdell, and he had to learn to ink with his left arm after his right was shattered to splinters and claimed to be useless forevermore... so he kept it in a hard cast and became just as good with left as his right... and when the cast was removed and his arm was checked out, it was revealed and functioning like normal... and then he inked with both arms.... AT THE SAME TIME!  ON THE SAME PAGE!  That was amazing.

We are taking the rest of this week "off" to "relax", but in reality we are working on all sorts of stuff for the whole week.  I am doing IN SECURITY roughs for the continuation next week, BeaR. is doing KITTEN all the time and working on Patreon art and mailing out benefit envelopes, etc., I wrote 12 Mr. H episodes during the last weeks and have to record and ut music to them this week, and we are writing the first arcs of next year (you will see in 6 weeks).

You will see the new comics beginning on Monday in 2 weeks (unless something else derails us).  Yep.  It's a wait, but we want to then do a straight run for the end of the initial series in April 2022.

We still have no solid view of the future!!  April 2022 could bring any number of possibilities, and they all depend on what is doing best and how we decide to plan beyond.  If IN SECURITY keeps up with Patreon support doubling, we might do IN SECURITY full-time beyond April 2022.  KITTEN might become BeaR's main comic.  If DIAL H FOR HORROR ever takes off and gains us income, that might give us freedom to switch over to the THE PANDA (graphic novel/shonen jump comic).

Only the future will tell.  Anyway, thank you for the prayers and well-wishing over my eyes.  They are good to go, no clouds!  And the lenses in there, BeaR says, sparkle!  So I look like her anime dreamboat come true. :P
