Well, Halloween is coming up next month and I thought of doing two spooky pin ups. So, for Mino, I looked up if there are any interesting Cat demons or ghosts I could use for her. So I stumbled over a Japanese cat spirit called 'Nekomata'. As far as I understand it's like an old cat that split its tail and turned into a shapeshifter, often portrayed in a kimono playing a Shamisen.

So I drafted my sketch for Mino and...the artwork just looked like Mino in a kimono. I dunno if I keep that motive tho, but I felt like it's still a neat cryptic so instead I made a Nekomata  sketch with Sedine (hey, any excuse to use washi tape. And a Kimon is perfect for this :P
