Old, old sketch...again. But just as a little reminder that the current storyline was in the making a long time ago ^^

I never shared this sketch (at least I hope I never did) to avoid spoilers since it's pretty much one of the final scenes of the HUbbsxAl arc...although, granted, many saw that coming a mile away anyway. But I'm glad hardly anyone guessed what's next...or how everything will play out...and I swear, if I hear anyone complaining that they miss this arc once it's over...I blow a fuse 0_0

What a wonderful sketch! The delicious irony of Hubbs' tears is a payoff well earned. He thinks Al has a thing with Ellie, even as Ellie brings him food on a tray. The act of offering nourishment is most caring. Ellie wishes to break bread, while Hubbs thinks all may be lost.

Kind of funny if you know what we know about Ellie's secret. Pretty great sketch, "Al" really looks like a guy here, of course that's easy to do when Ellie is in your arms, even if Ellie is in Ellie's arms. XD

Originally my husband wanted that I draw 'Al' more manly (no lashes and such). But I always thought it would add more to the humor if Al looks really girlish...I also wanted to keep her bracelet on....to this day I'm not sure what would be the better way ^^"
