Sunday #12 the ideal (Patreon)

I spoil you guys way too much this month. You are even getting a third colored pin-up! (Although I’m not sure if this is mainstream preference :P)

This was an older joke redone. My husband pushed it a bit further by making She-Hubbs’ legs ridiculously short (in my original version she was just a bodybuilder in a bikini)

As mentioned in that episode, Hubbs’ female form can be interpreted in two ways, as the mousy sports geek or as She-Hulk.  (Which version would you find more fitting for him? :))

I wanted to draw super patriotic bikini for so long...but didn’t expect it will be Hubbs who wears it in the end XD ....But that way it turned into another ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ reference, with which I’m perfectly fine with (How can I not like that movie? It features an Alphaville song :P) 

Don’t worry, I think I will use that design on Ellie or Sedine after all...maybe even on both. After all, there are some really  cute swimwear designs out there which feature the star spangled banner. :3

The biggest fun part was rendering She-Hubbs’ body. I used more painting techniques and blended the colors better. The light effects could’ve been a bit better placed tho. But overall I’m happy with the overall effect. 

I also used a different technique with the shine in her hair. It worked on this drawing, but I’m not sure if it really fits the style of the comic otherwise :/
