Sorry for the late (and repetitive) sketch update.

This was the proto-sketch for the Sunday last week. It was not intended to be a strip, but since the motive was kinda cute my husband pushed for it.

Since 'Derpy Dancing' was a reference to 'Dirty Dancing' I wanted to switch the dream pose to a proper reference to that movie. However, Husbando talked me into leaving the motive alone...

(but I drew a Dirty Dancing sketch anyway XD)

I notice that in the sketch they are closer together - on a loveseat as opposed to a sofa - without the football in between. Just curious - was the change motivated by continuity, i.e. the size of Ellie's sofa already being established?

No, not really. We had to adjust to format in order to fit it onto a page for printing. It’s still longer than a normal Sunday would be. But since we are not bound by newspapers it doesn’t matter too much. However. We still want to have it in the next book. So I had to make it wider but shorter :)
