Death, debt, and delinquency... we win! (Patreon)

(Mr. Husband) Well, we returned, finally.  A few days ago we got home, but have been so busy trying to regain schedule.  Tuesday's comic was uploaded a mere 4 hours before it appeared on Go Comics!

Ultimately, we helped out my brother and mother and got them back together.  My brother was close to death, but he got over it and now is on the mend.  It will take him a year to get close to his previous normal ability.

As for us, we are now in a tight schedule.  Next Wednesday is the last of the uploaded strips, so I have to work fast to get these next 6 strips out while Beate pencils the next 8 behind that.  Woo!

I began working on THE BOOK again, once we were home.  Only about 10 strips left to post in the book and then it is all about the cover (which is being neglected).  Currently I am also correcting all my misspelled WHOAs in the earlier year of IN SECURITY.  So many WOAHs to manipulate.  Formatting and most all other data is completed and ready to print.

If we get it going fast enough, we should have a proof in our hands around July 4th.  Depending on how the proof looks, it could be on Amazon by July 7th... or August 1st... or... never.  The biggest concern we have is over moire patterns that crop up with these dot patterns.  I doubt the average dot patterns will cause problems, but the small-dot fades and "Sailor Moon" patterns might cause real trouble.

The book is currently 189 pages, 8x11", white paper, color (mostly spot, but lots of color illos and all color Sundays, etc.) and contains 4 strips per page, unless formatted for less according to arc length.  Looks good as we print it at home.

Thanks for all the encouragement and help!  All the new (and old) patrons are well appreciated by us.  We make almost all our income here (smaller bits come from GoComics and Tapas, but maybe 1/5th as much per month) and all of it comes in useful to survival.
