Monday's sketch on a Wednesday :D (I should peel out a Wednesday sketch too tho)

The title is a bit unfair. Compared to some business people, who are willing to endanger customer's life, health and way of living for mere profit, that dude's pretty much a saint. He 'only' pulls money out of people's pockets by dumping a bad product onto them....

But this is a family friendly comic (at least most of the time), so let's not dive too deep into the evil's of mammonism.

This was not the original design of the greedy CEO Newt Racker. I made a design back at home...scanned it....and failed to load it onto my tablet or husband's computer. So I had to make a new one here at my in-law's place. XD

I apologize for being a bit misguiding. This arc was not meant to be about Hubbs saving Ellie from the evil business person (although that would've been cute <3)

This arc was meant to show off Ellie, what she does for a living (aside of Chix 'n Wings) and what she'd do in case of trouble (and that she indeed has more than just air in her head ;))

I enjoyed drawing Ellie in a more serious way, although my husband already voiced concern that this arc is too drama heavy and the humor came a bit short...however, I think it's important to show a more feisty side of Ellie and that she indeed is not always everyone's darling (or that every man she encounters isn't automatically husband material for her) :)
