Truth about Charlene is, once you get to know her she can be quite cheerful and open...Problem is just to get to that point ;)

It was suggested that Charlene could be a character like Squidward from Spongebob, and be more negative towards Sedine, perhaps even try to change her and turn her 'normal'. Although a character like that would fuel a lot of really neat scenes, I'm quite happy Charlene is not that way at all.

Although she has her issues with her unwanted attention, she's not a bad person or an antagonist. To be honest I don't want any real antagonist in this strip. Each character supposed to have his/her faults, weakness and sweet spots. They might not be visible at the moment. But I hope their true nature will be shown with time...
